Someone once said, "You'll sit alone forever if you wait for the right time. What are you hoping for?"I tend to take this advice to heart. I'm a writer and lazy by choice/profession (no offense to other writers out there, but I'm one of "those" ;D), but when I see something I want, I work my a** off for it. I'm now a second dan (second degree) black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and am so damn happy about my efforts paying off.
I also believe that decisions shouldn't be regretted: The only two pains in life are the pain of discipline, and the pain of regret. If you think you might regret a decision you may make in the future, than don't make it. Or alter it.
I'm not your mommy and I'm not going to tell you that it's alright when you come back. I'll tell you one of two things: "You really ******** up," or "Continue trying. Change your method and keep at it."

Yeah, I swear a bit - it's how and who I am. I'll tone it down for certain situations, but I don't care jack if you're royalty, the president, a Nazi - I politely refuse to back down for you. It's a free nation, damnit, and when it stops being so is when freedom dies. That happens, we'll meet up in Canada. ;D
