I was a law intern for a bit and worked in a law library during my first Master's degree. I could have done it, but I found it boring, honestly. i'm glad there are people doing it, and the gentleman who got me my settlement after a two and half year struggle absolutely deserves his fee. I just know I'd have hated kit in a year.
Like I can riff all I want on Reconstruction related topics when we do reconstruction, or talk about all sorts of issues around scapegoating, bias, WWII when we do Anne Frank. I can't talk about anything sexual, of course, and there are politics related ethical constraints, but supervision was very occational and I could generally do what I liked within those broad curricular and ethical constraints. how many other jobs give you that much freedom?
Hell, I dated more than a few soldiers. The kids I was teaching were too young to sign up while i was teaching them. I have no idea how many ex-students ended up fighting.
I have trouble with authority and would have been a terrible soldier. i prefer dojos where you can shop for a good sifu..
