        So, I've been pretty nonexistant here on Gaia since about 2009, but now I am thinking of coming back. ;D

        It might be amazing, but it might also be a disaster. Either way, let's see how bad Gaia has become since I left.

Haha, he's doing good. Just a small scare with some chest pain. Nothing wrong with his heart, just some fluid in his left lung that he's been taking antibiotics for. Old ******** is tough.
Kitty babbies~ Tonks is beside me, on her usual spot on the bed - under the flow of heat from the vent.

Haha, head over to the Site Feedback forum. There's a whole thread dedicated to boycotting GC - it's been going on for over a year, and there has been no success, just a bunch of bitching and whining and hating on Staff members and people that spend GC and 'GDC Regulars' - that one being because the 'popular' gaians usually have a wish list in their siggy and it's always changing with new quests. Just a bunch of butt-hurt babies, honestly. After a while, you just don't give a shite anymore, just roll your eyes and continue browsing.

Some were stupid pissed, some people were pissed because of fear that the value would drop dramatically and be worthless rolleyes others because Monthly items are suppose to be that, for one month only and then they are gone forever. They had the Halo in the Cash Shop a couple of times. It was hella expensive, like $1000. They've had other items directly for sale in the Cash Shop, some items were in Deflation RIGs. Gaia made it worse by looking like super scum bags with changing their rules about item re-releases, and changing the wording on the Monthly Envelopes page.

Wouldn't be surprised if they got sold. When the inflation hit, it was 'Sell any rare items you got now, because Gaia is going to probably re-release it to death to lower the inflation.'
Not to many people were happy when they re-released old Monthly Envelope items.

Started last year in September. Got a new CEO and he pushed the ******** out of Gold Generators [GC RNG that would award a shite ton of gold] The economy ******** imploded. Having a billion now is like having 100 - 250 thousand before shite hit the fans. They've started to heavily advertise buying GC and GC items. The Cash Shop has new items daily. There are Limited Items - only a few in stock - and RIGs - Random Item Generators - that they have been using as a means to kill some of the inflation on some items. zOMG is gone. They centered the site to make it look 'better on mobile' but it looks shite on certain monitors if you aren't zoomed out. You'll notice the Flying Blue Dragon, that's the Christmas event - which mostly have consist of Forum Battles, which get old quickly, and are full of butt-hurt when it's a versus event and one team has more people and win. The stocking is a Gold Dump - another thing to 'help' with inflation. They recently started doing 'Tier Rewards' for spending GC. They changed the header to give GC it's own spot- which some people wanted - but got rid of the home page and included a feature for GoFushion - which some people didn't like. GoFushion is the new Alchemy, it's easy to get some charms, but in the beginning, the only way to get them was buying charm packs in the, you guessed it, the Cash Shop. Oh, and we have Animal bases called Paws, they're cute, but anyone that uses them bitches about how Gaia doesn't release enough Paw items. I think that's everything. Check out the GDC for more info on the inflation - whenever anyone comes back, there's always a 'What happen to the Marketplace!?!?!' thread there, so it's become a regular thread on the first page so everyone can see it
