a little bit of a glimpse into my world - interests, thoughts about life, etc.

 

About

In the process of completing my education to earn my Ph.D. in psychology and working as a counselor and adjunct professor.My interests in psychology focus on multicultural/social justice issues and wellness/self-care issues.

I have a great family and love them tremendously! They have been so supportive of my career goals that I feel really fortunate to have such wonderfully caring people in my life. Looking forward to spending more quality time with them now that my formal education is coming to a completion - though I hope to continue learning throughout my life!

I'm a very spiritual person and enjoy discussing spiritual beliefs of all kinds. My spirituality is very ecclectic, but is mostly metaphysical in nature. I believe in the good in all people and try to live my life in a way that is from a loving and supportive place. I think it was Eleanor Roosevelt that said, "There are two ways to spread light - to be the flame or the mirror that reflects it."
