Most of us take our shadows for granted.
Do you ever think about your shadow?
It is with you every day, everywhere you go.
Whether outside on a sunny day, or at night by candlelight, your shadow is there, imitating your every move.
In the summer sun, Your shadow is short and dark.
In the slanting light of a sunset, it grows long, stretching out, fallowing your stride.
Your shadow is always changing, yet it is always exactly you.
Infact, Your shadow is the dark side of you.
Do you ever wonder what your shadow is thinking?
What if your shadow had a mind of it's own?
What if it suddenly began making demands?
What if it started ordering you around?
What if your Shadow expected You to fallow It?

Welcome to a hub for my new Webcomic,
Okage!
As you may or may not know, Okage: Shadow King is the name of a rather whimsical fantasy RPG, about a boy forced to be enslaved and possessed by an Evil King to cure his sister of a curse, and ends up on a mission to destroy the world, unsuccessfully.
One can think of this comic as a sort of sequel, What happened to the King and his butler James afterwards.
It is the story of an 18 year old girl named Aneski Nukpana. a dark yet innocent and friendly personality, she lives hidden deep within the woods surrounding 16th century Salem, Mass.
she is forced to be outcast after being suspected of witchcraft in such a troubled time, and with good reason - She is possessed, and has been since an early age, by an usual shadow-based entity who calls himself "Lord Stanley Hihat Trinidad XIV" in full. He is a very dominant spirit, Powerful, yet short-tempered and somewhat arrogant, and she has little choice but to do what he says. In a shack by a swampy river, she lives with only him and a ghostly butler. eventually befriending the wildlife, Raccoons in particular, taking one in as a pet. she is unsure of what Stanley's plans are in this world, but he seems to be training her, occasionally, as she has noticed herself developing certain abilitys that she cannot explain, aswell as a newfound ability to see - atleast partially - in the dark. She has a rather complicated past aswell as present - and feels somewhat in debt to Stan, after an incident which causes her to bandage, wrap her lower legs, and hide them constantly. Though her "Lord" proclaims himself to be a Purely Evil king, she notices something, every so often, that is human within his eyes of flame.
With a sort of dark celtic fairytale style, I hope to keep this comic updated. While drawing a strip doesn't happen exactly overnight, Just keep on checking back, there WILL be more~ ^_^
