Aww I'm sorry to hear that :/
Things will get better, don't you worry. Sometimes it's hard to see or find positive things in life, but they do happen and things will always get better :]

Can you listen to speaking if it's in another language? Maybe it helps more if you aren't concentrating on what is being said. Sometimes I will listen to Korean or Japanese asmr as I really like those languages, and sometimes I will even try a German one as well. I can't understand it completely but certain words I will recognize.
I have listened to a few cooking asmr channels. It's nice to listen to but also you can learn to make some really amazing deserts. A lot of those channels have really skilled people behind the camera.
I know of a few ones that just do mostly cakes and baking things but also I found one where the person must work at a coffee shop or a cafe because them show how to mix a lot of interesting drinks and the present them all with visual stimulus too, from seeing certain things react to each other when they are introduced to the container, to the very container itself.

Hrmm I seem to like the ones with people talking more, like the self care ones and what not. Most of my favorite ones are things like eye exam roleplays or things with lots of personal attention. I do like wood block sounds, like when you slide two blocks against each other. Thank is pretty nice to me. Yeah I don't like those eating sound ones or things that are similar. It's not that they revolt me or anything it's just kind of cringy to me I guess. One of my favorite clips comes from Ephemeral Rift (who I am sure you are familiar with), where he does this sort of echoing effect on his voice. It's really nice, but he never does it the same way again. He made another video with the same effect but it's just random sounds and not him speaking actual words Soporific Lampshade (random sounds one)
Lampshade with talking
Oh wow, you made it farther I could have lol I don't know if those repeating sounds have ever worked for me. A lot of noise makers have that heart beat sound in them, and I could never imagine being able to fall asleep to that, would give me nightmares.

Yeah I used to listen to binaural beats too but for some reason they annoy me now. Like the same constant humming noise or low frequency.
I just have to be more conscious to turn it off, but part of me thinks that 30 seconds or so to turn on is too long I guess lol
It's super rewarding to come home from working and see all these notifications that my listed items sold, but it's even more joyous to see what you have left me a message.
I seem to be enjoying the nature/soundscape ambient tracks. I like when they mix river or ocean sounds in. The perfect sound of water flowing is very relaxing to me.
I watched a asmrer make a video reviewing a very good soundmaker and it had this one setting of girgling bubbles. So I had to find the clip again because it's just so nice. I don't think I could listen to it for too long but it's nice for a little while: Bubble Sound

Ohh I love these singing bowls. They are very nice and I might even get one for myself someday. I think they work better if you have more than one, as they make different sounds depending on their size (but you already knew that Mr. Music Maker). Some
I am glad you liked the Harold Budd track I sent you, it calms me as well. Yeah after a while I wake up in the middle of the night when whatever I am listening to has finished, and I take my headphones off. Now that I think about it, this probably explains most of the reasoning behind why I wake up again during the night. I should probably turn off my computer more often and not be listening to something, but there are some nights where I cannot fall asleep unless I listen to something. I cannot be in a room that is completely silent either, it gives me the creeps somehow, so I like to have a fan on all the time making its own ambient noises. Sometimes I even sleep with my diffuser on but I am running out of lavender oil :/ I never thought to give that a try, but it really does work to put you to sleep.

Hrmm so you like more of the sort of space and abstract ambient music?
One of the albums I sent you could be classified as a soundscape sort of thing. I was listening to it today, before I fell asleep to take a nap and I felt my arms and my toes go numb a little and I guess that's one of the feelings associated with asmr? Having this slight tingling in your extremities. It was weird but also really calming at the same time, and I don't usually get that to happen.
Do you have any particular songs or albums that you like to listen to to fall asleep?
I tried to meditate as well a few days ago, but sitting with my legs crossed turned out to cause some problems for me as my legs started to fall asleep. So I guess I'll have to try next time with my legs out in front of me.

Nah I don't think so, because they both gave consent for it, but who knows about the rest of the characters. Maybe that is one of the dilemmas of the main character. Vegetarians don't eat meat.
Black and blue glasses sound fun. I can imagine those colors swirled together on some frames. Would look very nice. I suppose because I don't wear make-up, one of the few things I have to make up for that are glasses. It's like a somewhat girly fashion accessory while also being practical. No I haven't heard of Steve Roach, but I'll be sure to give them a listen to. Is he one of your favorite ambient artists? What others do you have?

Hmm what do you mean consequences? Right now the main character is having a lot of internal conflict with his feelings and there seems to be this reoccurring theme that at the end of the month the older guy will just leave as all the other visitors have done before and then he'll lose the connection he has made.
I had to work on Easter unfortunately and it was crazy busy at the store where I work, because we were the only grocery store in the area that was open. Sorry to hear about your getting sick, but I am glad that you are over that now. I have been a vegetarian now for about a week and honestly I feel like it's not a struggle for me that badly, as I was already not eating meat that much to begin with. It's probably better foir my health to stay away from it. I just finished ordering two new pairs of glasses from Warby Parker, and I am exited to get those soon (if you didn't know I am a big fan of glasses).
I have been looking more into ambient music and I have found some very nice tracks you might want to listen to. I'll post them below:
Joanna Brouk - The Space Between
Harold Budd & Robin Guthrie - An hour, a day, no more...
Takashi Kokubo - Oasis of the Wind II A Story of Forest and Water

Taking humanities again made me rediscover my love for it. I never really liked history that much, but learning about things all over the world is fun to me now.
Haha yeah this is the first time I am reading a erotic sort of novel and for sure the absolute time reading one about a gay person, though I think the teenage boy is bisexual because he has feelings for both it seems, though his love for the older man is probably stronger. I do not know if such things bother you or not, but I would suggest it if you wouldn't mind reading it. I find it really interesting , the thought processes of the younger guy. How have you been, and what have you been up to, same old same old?

I am okay with math, it's more about practicing and doing a bunch of problems until something clicks in your brain and you understand it. Chemistry is kind of fun because of all the science aspects of it. I honestly haven't taken any of my core classes yet other than like humanities, so I am starting my chemistry and biology classes, which should be pretty interesting compared with another straight math class or a boring useless class like ethics or American government.
I guess down the line I forgot that I confessed me feelings to you, and how that all turned out. I guess sometimes they don't seem to go away with certain people.
I added a reading list on my profile and I am currently reading the book "Call me by your Name", which is a book about a man who comes to visit a teenager's father over the course of a month to do research with his father, and the teen ends up getting romantically involved with the visitor. I watched the movie a while ago, so I figured I should give the book a try. It is really touching, but also quite erotic at certain points, but I am enjoying it very much.

Wooo. I still worry about you sometimes, cause to be honest I guess I like you a bit from what I have learned about you.
How have you been? I have still been taking my classes. Finishing up retaking this math class that I stopped going to last semester and in the summer I am going to be taking intro to chemistry.
Looking forward to what a college chemistry class might be like. I used to enjoy chemistry in high school but at a certain point the teacher I had stopped caring about helping students out, or maybe that was my physics teacher? Either one or both of them were bad lol
I finally finished the book I was reading for like a year and a half "The Pillars of the Earth", and now I am working on finishing "Ready Player One" and then I'll finally get to watch the film as well. There is another book I need to finish reading so I can watch this youtuber's explanation of the whole thing. That book is "House of Leaves".

I have a good friend who likes wwi stuff and does some reenacting and he works for a museum making little displays and other stuff.
Really I like that stuff too, but not like a die hard fanatic. My grandmother and grandfather were involved with all of that (on the German side) so I guess I enjoy learning about it because it was part of their lives.
I love the Templar knights and I think it would be amazing to have items that reflect that. I really enjoy the idea of knights a lot. Usually if there is a knight class in a game I will always choose it.

Hrmm I don't really know how to pinpoint that. I guess there are a lot of things I like about that time period, knights, the artwork, the fascination with death, the architecture, the clothing. It's just a really interesting time to learn about.
