Background Information: Growing up in Kyoto, Japan, Rei has lived a complicated and dark life during her childhood days before being accepted into Shinmeiryuu Academy; it was a beginning of a new and brighter life from the previous that left deep emotional scars that never healed. Rei learned most of her combat skills and manners (positive ones) at Shinmeiryuu, turning into a mature and elegant warrior.
