Chapter 1: Liv


So it all began in Alexa and I's senior year of high school. Yep that's right that means prom, graduation, and unfortunately SATs. Some amazing things happened to us over the past few hundred years. (oh yeah did I forget to mention we are immortal) We found others like us, they have become our best friends. William was the first of the four that the two of us met. We had come across him while at our little school in Phoenix, Arizona. James came next. He apparently was Williams best friend that's what clued us in, seeing as when you are immortal and you find another like you, you tend to stick by them and become eternal best friends. That would be the case for me and Alexa if we weren't already sisters. Cody and Carter on the other hand were more difficult to find. Everywhere we went there would be a sign that they were there but some how we always missed them. Then one day they just appeared from what seemed to be thin air. But who will ever truly know? Certainly not us.


Anyway the day that brought us into a world of fighting, terror, and running away started out as any other day.
"Liv guess what I just heard!" Alexa squealed running up to me in the hall.
"What could you have possibly heard that would interest me Alexa?"
"I heard that a certain someone that you have been crushing on wants to ask you out!"
"OMG! Please tell me it's Carter because if it isn't I just might die."
Alexa had no time to answer before James, William, and Cody were standing next to us with a questioning look in their eyes. I glanced to Alexa, then to the guys, then back to Alexa to see if she could get them to go away.

"Hey, can you guys give us a minute, tune us out and pay attention to something else cause I know that you guys can hear us... Just for now, please?"
They sighed and walked away.


"Okay, Carter DOES want to ask you out! EEEK! It's so exciting!" Alexa whisper yelled to me.
"Oh my goodness!!!!!!!!! I can't believe this! well.... I can because I sorta...."
"NO YOU DIDN'T!!!!"
"I did..."

"I can't believe you had a vision about this!!!!!! What was the point of me telling you this!! When you already knew it was going to happen!!!!!!"


"Oh please... I had to see if it would come true.... I hadn't expected it to be this early for me to find this out."
"What do you mean?"
"I had the vision...."
"Yes?"
"I had the vision yesterday!"
"Man... I wish I could see the future like you can... I only see it when I dream and get eerie premonitions when things are bad!"
"It's not all happy fun things that I see... Remember that Alexa...."
"Well, I do remember... Hmm... The guys are coming behind me huh?"
"Yep."
They came up behind Alexa, she turned around, and yelled BOO at the guys. They jumped, and Alexa laughed.
"Hahahaha you three are such losers! My little sister scared you guys that badly!"
I had more I wanted to say but suddenly lost track of my thoughts when I saw him walking down the hall. His long, gorgeous black hair shining in the florescent lights. His Grey eyes sparking with excitement. His stride seemed to quicken when he caught sight of me and the gang.
"H...Hey Liv ummm can I talk to you for a minute?"
"Yeah Carter that would be great!"
I side glanced at Alexa who was grinning from ear to ear. To me her thoughts must have been, "Wow my sister is so cool I wish I was more like her!" hahaha just kidding I can't read my sisters thoughts no matter how cool it may be. I followed Carter around the corner and that's when he asked me the question I had been waiting for, for the past two days!
"Hey Liv there is something I wanted to ask you."
"What is it Carter?"
"Ummm well would you possibly.... Maybe consider being my girlfriend?"
"Umm yeah I would really love to be your girlfriend!"
His smile appeared on his face and he grabbed my hand and we headed back towards the others. When we got back to the group Alexa couldn't do anything but squeal with excitement. Cody, Will, and James all stared at me and Carter in disbelief. Suddenly, my gorgeous Carter glanced to the side of him to the staring people, watching them with wide eyes and in silence. He smiled at them, and they went back to what ever they were doing.
"YAAAY!!!!" Squealed Alexa, "I'm sooo happy for you guys! Honestly, I had a feeling this would happen!" She winked at me, and I stared at her with a smile on my face.
"Yeah, well, I coulda swore that I told you I was going to do it soon..." said Carter with a smile on his face.
Will, James, and Cody exchanged a look of disgust and happiness in they're own way of course. Alexa and I never really understand the ara of males or immortal males at that fact. Wow, I just realized that we don't get out much.... haha! Anyways, Alexa was so happy she was jumping all around and her brunette hair flying all around in the air. I could tell my life is going to change because of this specific moment in time. It was deja vu.... My vision! yes... That is exactly what it is....I saw this coming..... What was next? I forgot.... It'll come to me though...
Today, had started out dream-like. The guy of my dreams asking me out and my vision coming true... Suddenly, I caught a glimpse of Alexa quiver. I stared at her in disbelief... It was something bad, because that's what my sister see's. Why? Why now? She looked at me with pleading eyes as if to be telling me that something was going to happen soon... Only she will know if she doesnt' tell me, and I know she will. But... What if she forgets? Ugh, so many questions that are unanswered... Will I ever get them to be answered? Then it hit me. I remembered my vision but there was no way that the same vision could make it's way to my sister so quickly, could it?
"Alexa could i talk to you in private for a moment?"
I let go of Carter's hand and walked out of hearing distance from the guys before i said anything else to Alexa.
"Alexa what did you see?"
"There's trouble coming Liv but i don't know what it is."
"I should have told you earlier Alexa but i had a vision about a coming threat too. I think we need to get out of here and soon!"
"Liv we don't know when or what is going to happen. Maybe everything will be fine and we can finish
high school and be on our way to college!"
I knew she was right but i still had a bad feeling. We walked back to the rest of the group and Carter stared at me intensely. He leaned down and whispered in my ear.
"Is everything OK with you and Alexa?"
"Yeah everything is great!"
The bell rang and we all headed off to class. the thing i loved most about the last of class of the day is.. well it's the last class and all six of us are in the same class. Carter and I luckily sit right next to each other, so the entire time he was planning where he would take me tonight on our first date. That caused me to become over excited and unfortunately our teacher Mr. Ishihara took notice.
"Ah Ms. Way would you like to tell me how to say hello my name is... in French please?"
I guess it's a good thing I know French fluently. Thanks to my mom letting me go to France last summer.
"Yes Mr. Ishihara. Hello my name is Liv is translated into French like so.... Bonjour, mon nom de facon Liv IA."
Alexa, Carter and pretty much everyone else looked at me in amazement.
"Thank you Ms. Way. Very well done!"
I turned to face Alexa and she shook her head, smiling, because she knew that I had gone. She didn't want to take the trip to France so she went to Spain instead. Honestly, I don't know what we gained from that trip, she already knows perfect Spanish, but I know that most of the time she was on the beach, surfing, or chatting with random people on the beach.
"Wow..." said Carter.
"What? You never noticed that I speak perfect French with my sister?"
"Uh... Sure... Um... No I never have..."
"Oh..." I laughed, "That's surprising!"
"Sure, sure."
Mr. Ishihara looked from the smart board toward the class, he glanced around and chose my sister, Alexa, to answer a question. Since we were in foreign language class, he asked her a question to answer in Spanish.
"Ms. Alexa Way, how do you ask how are you in Spanish?"
"Hmm... That's a hard one Mr. Ishihara..." She laughed, "How are you in Spanish is: Como estas? My answer would be: Bien, i tu? And you would answer...."
"Bien, bien. Good job Alexa, mucho bueno seniorita."
"Gracias, Senior Ishihara!"
I turned to look at her, and she smiled proudly at me. Sure, she can be a show-off now and then but she was always proud of her fluent Spanish. Cody, James, Will, and Carter were surprized however... Alexa had never spoken in Spanish before so they had no idea that she was good at it. I on the other hand know that she loves to flaunt her spanish talents around. She winked at me when I shook my head and smiled at her.

Finally, the afternoon announcements came on. They were talking about the cheerleading, basketball, and football try-outs scheduled for this week. Alexa was, and always has been head cheerleader on all the times she's made it. Actually.... She's been making teams for the past hundreds of years... She likes to be a show-off for sure, but I am a fast runner so I like to show off at Track meets and even just races for fun. No one beside Alexa and the guys dares to race me besides in Track of course... They knew better then to race me for I showed no mercy against them. I mean with mortals maybe a ten second head start but with immortals there is no such thing! Anway after the bell had rung Alexa asked me what my plans were for after school, but when she saw my Carter coming she stopped and just smiled.
"Hey Alexa. Hey Liv!"
"Hey Carter. Hey you know what Carter you should give Liv a ride home I mean I have a few stops to make on the way home and I don't want to make her wait."
"Ummm I guess I could give her a lift if she wants one."
I wanted to tell my sister how sly she was pretending to have somewhere to go so Carter would give me a ride.
"Umm Alexa may I talk to you for a sec?"
"Sure I guess. What's on your mind?"
"In French that way they can't understand us please."
"Um OK."
"Euh ce que enfer est votre problème? Pourquoi avez-vous lui demander de me donner un tour?" ( what the hell is your problem? Why did you ask him to give me a ride?)
"Wow, je pense il na pas été si grave un accord, je voulais simplement GWT vous deux un peu plus près!" (Wow I didn't think it was that big of a deal I was just trying to get you two a little closer)
"Gee.. Thanks...." I scowled at her, "You better get to your things to do, before I...."
Alexa ran off before I could finish. Of course she took the car, I wasn't going to need it. Carter was going to take me home, which I felt weird about because no one knew (or remembered) where I lived at. Only Alexa, and the guys knew. I sorta had James erase his memory of where I lived because at the time, I was scared of what he would remember it as.

"So are you ready to go?" Carter asked.

"Of course! Let's go before I chase after my sister to rip off her head...."

He laughed, "Okay! Lets go!"

We walk to his blue Lamborghini Murcielago in the school parking lot. Alexa and I always wondered why it wasn't stolen. I pictured him freaking out over his beautiful car. It defiantly wasn't a pretty sight at all.... His eyes bright red, with tears streaming down his beautiful pale face. He seemed broken... Like the one thing that mattered to him most was taken from him... Wow... An awful picture.... I shook it from my head, and I realized he was staring at me from inside the car... If I could blush I probably would....

"Come on Liv, get in."

I jumped in the passenger seat, and buckled my seatbelt to look some what normal. I never usually wear a seat belt but, I kinda half to, to keep up my appearance. Carter looked at me and then behind him to see if he could back up yet. Fully out of the school parking lot he sped toward my house. I rolled down the windows and blasted the music.
"I love this song!" I said as Justin Bieber's Baby came on.
Carter actually started laughing at me but not in a way that said he was making fun but in a way that said he cared.
"I really appreciate you giving me a ride but do you even remember where I live?"
"Of course i remember where my baby girl lives how could I forget!"
I liked the sound of me being his baby girl. I realized his speed had slowed immensely and before I could ask why I saw the front of my house. I didn't think we had been driving that long but hey who knows.
"My car... It isn't here! Alexa should have been home before us....."
"Well she said she had a few places to go first maybe she is still running errands."
"Yeah maybe..."
"Want me to stay and wait with you that way if she isn't home in like an hour i can take you to go look for her?"
"Would you? That would be great! Thanks Carter!"
Carter and I went inside the house and dropped our stuff off in my room. He stopped to look at all of the paintings on the walls.
"Liv can i ask you something?"
"Sure Carter what is it?"
"Who painted these?"
"What those old things" I asked pointing to the paintings of places i wanted to visit or had seen in a vision.
"Yeah those?"
"Umm I did actually!"
He looked at me as if he were shocked and amazed. He had a smile of envy on his face, and I looked at him and smiled with excitement. I started to walk out of my room, and he walked further into it. I turned around to see what he was looking at. He was looking at the painting of Alexa when we lived in England in the 1800's. She loved the purple dress she was wearing. I'm pretty sure she has it some where stored away, either in her closet or up in the attic in an ancient chest or something... I laughed silently to myself, but Carter heard me a little bit he turned around.

"What? And... Is that?"

"Alexa. Yeah.... And I was just thinking of something. An inside joke between me and Alexa. Don't ask... It's hard to explain."

"Okay. So? When do you think Alexa will be back?"

"Hmm.... Good question. Hang on, I'm gonna call her to see where she is..."

"Okay."

"Excuse me i gotta go get the house phone. She has my cell and her cell... I might rip off her head."

"No you wouldn't. That's impossible. You guys love each other too much."

"True. But, that wouldn't stop my from kicking her butt when she gets home."

He laughed, "Wow, my baby get's rough. oooo...." He winked.

If I could blush, I would've. That was a little weird. Then I heard a car coming down the drive way.

"Oh. Alexa's home."

"How do you know? I don't hear any.."

Outside a door lightly shut but sounded like a slam. I looked at him with a look as if saying 'Told ya so.' He smiled and walked over to me, gave me a hug and kissed my neck. It was a shock to me of how amazing that one little peck of warmth felt to me. I was hypnotized. Alexa came up stairs glanced in my room, walked away threw her stuff in her over-sized room and came back down the hall to watch us from behind the wall.

"I love you, Liv."

I looked at him pain-struck. I whispered close to tears, "I love you, too, Carter."

Alexa backed away from the door, tip-toeing, almost silently, but I could hear her of course walk to her room. When she got there she closed her door to a crack and started to play her Steinway Grand Piano, one of the first piano's made in the world and she played The River Flows In You. I smiled. I looked up toward Carter and his eyes were love-filled. I couldn't find words to explain how I felt at this moment. Beautiful music played by a musician, the love of my life in my arms, and his look right now were dazzling me.

He smiled. "Is your sister playing that?"

"Yeah. She never plays this anymore and yet she remembers it. All the notes and the melody is exactly in place. Wow... I'll have to give her credit for that."

She walked down the hall when she was finished. I turned around and saw her smiling. "Thank you, my lovely sister."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever."

"It's true!" said Carter.

Alexa smiled at us. She walked into the room and she turned to the picture of her on the wall. "Oh... How I do love this dress.... I have it still! Would you like to see it Carter? Liv?" She skipped away without an answer. She went to her closet, and we followed her. she pulled out a dusty chest that had emeralds, diamonds, pearls, topaz gemstones, and so many more valuable and beautiful priceless stones. She took a key from... I don't even know where, but she must have gotten it before we came into her enormous walk-in closet. She looked at the almost breakable key. She lightly stuffed it into the lock, and twisted so carefully... Click. It unlocked. Wow, I thought to myself.

She pulled out a powder-blue dress before she came along the majestic purple dress. I remember wear the blue one to church every Sunday morning among the beautiful young women me and my sister stood out of course. She pulled it out, and she pushed it up against herself as if to check to see if it still fit. Of course we haven't changed since the transformation over 100 years ago.

"Aww.... I love this dress so much. I used to wear this for Halloween and I kept it for soooo long." She winked to me. "It just might be my graduation dress as well. I keep it maintained along with my other clothes." She stretched out her arm, as if to invite us to look at every little detail in the fabric to see if she was telling the truth.

I finally broke off her gloating, "Carter, don't you think you should go?"

"Um yeah, do you have the time?"

Alexa quickly took out her phone, "5:11."

"s**t! Yeah, I better get home. If I don't finish my homework my mom will never let me go anywhere besides school, home, and the store."

Alexa giggled a smigde. I shot her a look that told her to shut up, cause if she doesn't I'll hurt her. She quickly stopped giggling.

"Okay. You should go. I'll go and walk with you out of the house. Come along, Carter."

"Wow... I love the way you said that. Did you just speak in a British accent?"

"Maybe..." I turned to look at Alexa who was holding back hysterical laughter.

Carter looked at me in shock and i just shrugged. I walked out of the room with Carter right behind me. I kept looking back to see if he was still staring at me funny. He always was. We walked out side and to his car. We talked for a little bit longer until his cell phone rang.
"Hello. Hi mom......."
"Yes I'm on my way. OKAY!!!! Mom calm down I was hanging with Liv for a while, while we waited for her sister to get home. Kay mom. Love you too. Bye."
"I gotta go my mom is furious that I'm not home by now."
Before I had the chance to say anything he grabbed my wrists and pulled me close to him. But again before i could protest he kissed me with the passion and intensity that i had always dreamed of. That is when I knew that our relationship was gonna be a good one. We would always be there for each other through the good times and the bad. He let go of me and apparently it was my turn to giggle. I would have blushed if I could have. He gave me one last look and got into his car. I watched as his car pulled out of my drive and then I turned to head for the front door. As I took my first step towards the door my phone rang. I looked at the caller I.D. It was Carter.
"Hello there what a surprise!"
"Hi Liv. So I had a good time tonight. We should hang out again soon since we are going out and stuff."
" Yeah but hopefully next time we can be alone and not have my sister showing us her old clothes. Sorry about that."
"It's all right. I enjoyed it. It showed how different you two really are.
"Yeah I......."
Someone grabbed me and told me to be quite. I dropped the phone and began screaming for Carter or Alexa whoever could get there first.
"Liv! Liv! Are you there? Are you Okay? Liv? Answer me!!!"





Chapter 2: Alexa



I walked around my room, sat down on the beautiful leather bench, listened attentively to the surrounding vibrations from my piano as I played Evanescence's My Immortal. I played tthe beautiful scale, and came upon the words... I sang into the microphone that connected to my piano. I always have loved Amy Lee's work as a musician and a writer... She's intelligent in the art, and I wish to someday become just like her... I close my eyes and only listen to the soft, slow melody. My window wall was in the front of me, and I stared into the surrounding sky and open meadow. I love my house, lived in it for centuries, I adore it. I know it like I know my keyboard... I layed my head down on my keys and played around it.

Honestly, I understand why Liv became an artist with paints and sketches... It's easier for her. For me on the other hand... I love I am easily addicted to any music that comes my way. But what's surprising is that I HATE Jazz... Haha! A piano player who absolutely despises Jazz... I am awesome like that... Haha! I stood up and walked to my window and propped myself up on my purple walls... I looked down to the empty road... It felt like a dream... My bed was at the end of my room close to the closet and the door, my piano was set in the middle of my room, a couch was set a few feet from the piano but not too close to my window. I blinked in what seemed like a dream, and awoke to silence, then I heard Liv's voice call to Carter and then to me... Her voice was distressed, scared even. I got up as fast as I could, ran with the quietest step that I could imagine, and found Liv in someone's arms... I couldn't tell who it was, because I felt that i was still in a dream, hazy and yet perfectly clear... My sister was in trouble, and the person holding her, knew who she was...

I shot down the stairs, flung open the door but before I could reach her it was too late. They had all ready jumped in the car and sped down the long graveled driveway. They had Liv and I couldn't couldn't save her. We.... We should have seen whoever it was coming. Then I saw it. Her phone on the ground. The screen said Carter was still on the line.

"Hello? Carter are you still there? If so it's Alexa..."

"Alexa? What happened? Where is Liv?"

"I am not sure at the moment. Someone got out of a black car and grabbed her. They already drove off. Can you come back? I'm gonna need all the help I can get. I'll call the rest of the gang, just hurry up!"

"I'm already on my way!"

I hung up with Carter pulled out my own phone. I dialed James, William, and Cody all at the same time.

"Hello," they answered altogether like a choir.

"Hey guys, I need you over at my place now!"

"Why? What's going on?" Cody asked.

"I'll tell you when you get here. Carter's already on his way."

"Alright! We're on our way!"

We all hung up the phone. I looked down at my screen saver. A picture of Me and Liv in Italy, in front of the world-renowned Trevy Fountain.

"Don't worry Liv I'm coming..."

A few seconds after I hung up the phone with James, William, and Cody, Carter showed up at my door... I saw the head-lights at the tip of the driveway and heard him speeding on the highway. Soon his Lamborghini was in my garage, along with my two cars and Liv's two cars... Liv... He walked to the front door and rang the doorbell. It echoed through the empty hallways and I walked as slowly as I could.

He rang it again and I yelled, "I'll be right there! HOLD ON!"

The walls seemed bare. The hallway seemed dull with no one behind you pushing, telling you to walk faster. I felt like I could cry. I sulked in my own depression, and I finally reached the door. I opened it, and I leapt into Carter's arms and cried.

"Alexa... Don't cry... I'm gonna cry too. Please stop..."

"I CAN'T HELP IT! I need her... I've never felt so alone in my life... Why did it have to be her? Why couldn't it have been me? UGH! I'm so frustrated! I wanna rip someone's head off!"

"Haha! Liv said that earlier today.... When you said to get a ride from me. Oh... Now I feel..." He put his head on my shoulder. "Alexa... I love Liv... I can't believe this."

" Who doesn't love Liv? Oh, hey, the guys are here."

He turned around and looked at the empty driveway, he opened his mouth to speak, and I pointed to the road. There they were.

He asked me, "How did you know that they were here?"

"Oh, just this little gift that I have."

"Oh..."

Cody's car came up the driveway first... Then, James' car. Then, last but not least, William's car. I let go of Carter, and ran to Cody first. I jumped into his arms too, he rubbed my back and head. He pulled back, and looked into my eyes, sending his apologies and his love with the sincerity in his beautiful crystal clear blue topaz eyes. I smiled and kissed him on the cheek. Next it was James, he saw the silent tears I wept, and kissed my lips passionately enough that I couldn't cry anymore. I looked into his eyes and he smiled and said, in his eyes, I love you and that he's sorry... Lastly, it was William... He took me in his arms, and he kissed my cheek and said sorry out loud. Then, I started to cry again. He looked into my eyes, and I couldn't read his soft brown eyes... Wow, I thought to myself, this is different... Why can't I see his emotions? Are they mixed, are they lost, are they not even there? Well I wouldn't be able to know...

I let go of William and began walking back towards the house. They all followed me like little ducklings follow their mother. We all went in the house and the briefing began. I told them of the events that happened today and what had happened to Liv. Carter looked as if he would burst into tears seeing as his girlfriend had just been taken from him and he wasn't here to save her.

"No one was here to save her Carter you don't need to feel bad. It wasn't your fault."

He looked at me with a look of depression and other mixed emotions. I ran up to him and hugged him tightly. He said thank you in a sincere way. I let go of him and then we proceeded to Liv's room that's where I thought we would find more stuff about who had taken her away from us. As soon as Carter and I saw the paintings on the wall we burst into tears. The other's couldn't understand why we were crying but they just let us go on in silence. Even through the tears i was the only one to move i headed straight for her closet. That's where she hid most of the stuff from her past. She was afraid of her past because of all the bad things that had happened to us. She had paintings of our past but she never hung them up when we moved here from Italy. "To many bad memories", was the only thing she ever said when I asked her why she never hung them. Then I saw it, a painting of some certain people from our past in which Liv never ever felt comfortable talking about......... Could this be a act of revenge if so why had they gone after Liv and not both of us..........

I remembered us being together for everything. I was there when the painting was being made, I just hope it wasn't them. I remembered them as kind, but they were the ones who wanted my sister. I started crying for the millionth time that night... I don't know how to live without her. I never will. Until I find her, nothing will be alright or okay or fine. I need her. Here with me, knowing that she's gone will never replace the empty feeling this has left me. My eyes burned from frustration, anger, sadness, and... another emotion I only felt once before.... Alone... I couldn't stand it, I got up and ran straight to my closet and locked the door. All of the guys came running after me, but weren't fast enough to open the door before I locked it. I went to the very back of my closet, I pulled out my punching bag punched it until I got it out. I didn't want to take it out on the guys. I needed my space to adapt to the frustration this left me.

I walked to my chest, opened it the second time today. Wow, I thought, why... Why Liv? I pulled out her dress she always wore to church. I unfolded it, and smelled it to remember she should be with me. I folded it, and put it in the chest. I put my face in my knees and the tears poured down my cheeks... I couldn't handle the pain. Never... After about 15 minutes crying to myself, I pulled myself off the floor and walked to the door. I opened it, and William was lying in my bed, Cody was sitting on the couch, and James was on the piano bench, his face in his arms. Carter was no where to be found in my room, I glanced around and James, Cody, and William pointed to the door and to Liv's room. I walked and signaled the guys to not follow me. I stepped into Liv's room... Carter was kneeling on the side on the bed, his head in the comforter. I slowly went by his side, put my arm around his shoulder and put my head on his shoulder.

"Will she ever come back? Will she be dead?" Carter said, it sounded like he was crying for a while.

"She'll be alright. There's nothing more that could happen. I'll spare you the details. Cause you already seem in a deep depression."

I thought to myself what could happen. She could be destroyed by the powers on the abductors, she could be burned, she could be taken into the wrong hands and we'll never get her back. I couldn't help crying right now. Just the thought of her being dead or never being the same or never returning is just killing my heart and soul. the only thing two things I live for are James and... Liv. Without my other half, I'm not whole. I... I can't stand this utter distress from Carter and the others. I know no one besides Liv has seen me suffer. Go through the worst part of my life. But... I just... I can't stand the fact she's gone.

Then, I hear the one thing I didn't want to hear. More company. Unless.... It's the person who took Liv. It would only make me more anxious to get down the winding steps to the door when they arrived. I looked out the window. I couldn't see the lights yet.

"There's someone here."

Carter looked through the window, "I don't..." He closed his mouth when the car pulled through the drive-way, " I still don't know how you do that."

I smiled.

The guys came through Liv's door and stared out the window. The most blood-curdling look on their faces upset me. "You don't know if that person has Liv."

They pulled up right outside the garage door, stopped, opened the door, and got out. I heard the door slam, but couldn't tell who it was outside my house. Carter got up, and pulled me up on my feet. The look on his face was just... I don't even know how to explain this emotion. I led the parade of one human and 3 immortals down the empty hallway. I lingered quietly before everybody, so I could corrode myself in thought. I took one step at a time down the staggered steps. I reached the bottom, with the guys not to far behind me.... Walked through the dead living room, and arrived at the door. I opened it and....

"Liv!!!!!!!!"
The guys came running as soon as i uttered the name. My wonderfully beautiful sister was standing before me and yet she looked somehow different.
"Liv are you okay? We were so worried! Come inside please we need to make sure your not hurt..."
I went to grab her hand but she jerked away quickly.
"I'm not here to stay! Ive come to give you a warning. I may look the same but i am no longer your nice loving sister. I have joined my captors and don't worry you will be recruited real soon."
As soon as he had heard her speak Carter burst through the crowd and stood so close to her it looked like he might kiss her.
"Liv is that you? Its me Carter!"
A look flashed upon her face as if she had just possibly... maybe returned to us.
"Carter love is that you? Ive missed you so much! You must come save me. I'm in a dark place and I'm scared! I need you and Alexa to hurry there isn't much time! Your the only ones that can save me. Please!!!!!!"
The look disappeared as soon as it had come on............
"You need to know they are coming for you. You, James, William, Cody, and even.... Carter. Alexa, do as they tell you and we will be together again. Sister... Please... Do as they say."
"Liv! LIV! What have they done to you? Please, talk to me!"
" I must go." She looked into my eyes, pleading for me to save her, then looked at the guys but couldn't dare look at Carter. I grabbed her shoulder, and it happened.
I saw where they were keeping her. Somewhere not far from here. The winding twists and turns of the roads and paths she took. The beautiful green forests along the side of the road became thicker and thicker. You could barely see through the limbs... She weeped silently in the car finally making taking me to the place where she was being kept captive. I've been there, i thought. A two-story home stood in surrounding forests, white marble statues everywhere, the house itself was made of dark cherry wood. they stepped out of the car that she drove here, and pushed Liv toward the door. The man opened the door, shoved her through it, and she stopped and stared at her surroundings... She remembered it... As I did. Everything was dusted and placed in the perfect place. Portraits, statues, furniture, tables, chandeliers... Everything was perfectly placed and didn't seem out of place...
As soon as she stopped, she was pushed ahead. Spiraling stairways were a customary thing to have in a house of vampires.... They get bored when they don't move, especially in circles on stairs... I laughed to myself. She walked up the stairway being pushed as she always had done for me, and ended up in a room the size of a condo. She sat down upon the satin couch and looked at the bookshelves all the way up to the ceiling. She spotted her favorite book series in the world, the Maximum Ride Series by James Patterson. She smiled to herself, knowing that another person liked the same series... I didn't read it, so I really didn't have a clue what it is about....
I blinked and Liv looked at me in shock. I looked at her in confusion...
"What?"
"H..How did you do that?!?!?!"
"It's one of my gifts remember.... Its part of my premonition stuff, I can see through your eyes too and go through your memory..."
"I don't remember you having that power..."
"I'm surprised you remember me at all..."
"Hey, don't be like that."
"Hey, I can be what I want..."
"I guess that means when they come for you, you will deny them... You really have no choice... I'm sure all of you... besides Carter... Knows that you can't deny them..."
"Liv...."
"I must go... I love you sister... I love you all... Goodbye..."
I ran to her and she pushed me away. She jumped into the car, tears streaming, and revved the engine. Liv sped down the driveway at an unstoppable speed... I ran to the house and went straight to my room... I slammed the door, and jumped onto my bed, and cried my eyes out. The guys silently crept into my room and sat my bed... I looked up...
"Alexa...."
"What?" I spoke with the tone of voice I didn't want to use.
"I'm so sorry..." said William...
"William! How will I live!?"
"I'm not sure... But you will... I promise she'll come back... You'll be together again.."
"How do you know?"
"I just know..."
That was the end of that topic... I glanced to my ceiling, then to the guys, then to my window... The moon glistened against my piano, and it silently called to me, speaking Liv's name... Liv... Liv... I couldn't handle it anymore! I got up and threw myself against the wall, nearly breaking it... The guys got up and caught me before I did it again, and sat me down. I didn't want them to stop me, I didn't want them to keep me away from killing myself, because in reality... Liv was dead. I started to cry, just the thought of... No. I couldn't. I can't think of my sister... My best friend... dead... I wiped the tears from my face, stood up, and pushed the guys away... I ran to the room on the side where the lake lurked right below my window. Liv and I always used to sit there and talk for hours on end. I could see the moon shinning upon the beautiful lake. Glistening and sending a chill down my spine...

Suddenly, I felt a presence among me in the room. I didn't turn to acknowledge the person, instead I waited until I was cool, calm, and collected. Once I had collected all of my thoughts I turned to see a very distraught Carter standing next to me. He must have caught my movement from the corner of his eye because he turned to face me as I turned to face him. His face was streamed with tears, as was mine. I couldn't even think of anything to say to him in order to stop his pain. Seeing as not only had i lost my sister but he lost his love... Before we could say anything yet again he hugged me and just silently wept... His weeping brought me back to tears but i knew we had no time for that. We had a rescue mission to plan. As the friendly embrace ended we were joined by the others. Once again Cody walked through the door first. I couldn't really understand how they always managed to come in, in the exact same order every time that I see them.

"So? What's the plan Alexa?" William asked

"I've lost my sister again and you expect me to have a rescue plan already! What the hell William! If you want a rescue plan why don't you think of one! When you got here you didn't seem all that worried until the last time Liv showed up to tell some weird cryptic message!"

"Look I know I didn't act like I cared but seeing you this upset kills me inside! So I am really sorry that you have lost one of the most important people!"

I gave William a look of confusion. He had never acted like this before. I wonder what was running through his mind but at the same time i was scared to find out.
