History/Bio: [DK/DKJr.] Born in a small apartment above a pizza parlor, Mario lived a pretty normal life in Brooklyn. Mario was only 10 years old when his mother passed away, and he made a vow to look after his twin brother. Mario's relationship with his own father was a bit shaky afterwards, however the two seem to display a mutual respect for one another. Mario had worked in the family business as a carpenter. He support his way through college and pamper his high school sweetheart. On one faithful day, Mario had took Pauline to the zoo. A gorilla named Donkey Kong (now known as Cranky Kong) had escape and kidnaped Pauline to be his gorilla bride. Mario had risked his life to rescue her, and put DK Sr. back into his cage. Afterwards things haven't been the same for Mario and Pauline. She's been too clingy to Mario lately, and very jealous of his younger brother. She would argue or pick random fights with him whenever Mario is not around. It's gotten to a breaking point where Luigi had withdrawn into a corner, and Mario was forced to break off his relationship with Pauline. [MB/SMB] Suffering from his recent heartbreak, Mario still has feelings towards Pauline. Luigi thought his brother needed to keep his mind off of Pauline, by changing his scenery. The brothers had recently started a new plumbing business, when they got a call about strange creatures were spotted in the sewer system. Upon investigating, they were ambush by large turtles who flooded down the pipelines. The two were chased down a mysterious pipe that took them into a mysterious world below. A Para Goomba was chasing down a Toad until Mario took care of it. Toad had thanked the plumber, and tells him that King Bowser has kidnapped the princess and all his friends. Without a second thought, Mario (and Luigi) volunteer to rescue everyone that was adducted by Bowser. [SML] Mario had successfully rescue the princess along with everyone else under Bowser's control, but something still felt missing. Mario left the Mushroom Kingdom to travel to other lands, when he noticed another villain has taken over the Kingdom of Sarsaland. With a sense of deja vu, Mario went ahead to free another princess all by himself. After kicking Tatanga's butt, and Daisy had invited Mario to stay at her castle for the night. Still feeling an empty void in his heart, Mario agree to stay with her. He'd soon regret it afterwards when Daisy offer her hand in marriage. Mario had left that very night with (figuratively) his tail in-between his legs. [SMB3(SMA4)] Mario decided to stick around the Mushroom Kingdom. He'd built a house (with his brother) on the outskirts of the Toad Village. Peach had summon them to the castle, and informed them that Bowser has once again trying to conquer the surrounding kingdoms. Naturally Mario had went ahead to help, with Luigi a little more on the hesitant side. While on their journey, Peach got kidnapped by Bowser again. Upon storming the Koopa King's Castle, Luigi had saved his brother's life by taking the hit from an exploding Bob-omb. Blaming himself, Mario was ready to give up and go home. Luigi however disregarded the idea, and encourage Mario to go on without him. Taken by his unselfish will, Mario continue on through Bowser's Castle. Rescuing her for the 2nd time, Mario couldn't help but to feel a little something as he escorted the princess. [YIDS/SMG/SM64] Peach did offer to help heal Luigi's wounds by channeling the Power of the Stars. With this amazing power, Mario had to ask her about the Power Stars. Peach reveals an ancient prophecy of children begin born from stars. These Star Children were said to harness many abilities to bring the world into peace and prosperity. Princess Peach believes Mario is an reincarnation of a hero from these legends.

-Jumping Ability- Despite his size and physique, Mario can jump pretty high.
-Kinetic Bond- A biological radar system which he can track Luigi's heartbeat no matter where he is.
-Fireband- Mario had learn how to control fire by the Fire God of Oh Ho Island. He can manipulate fire to attack his foes or provide light in dark places.
[Power-Ups] Because Mario is one of the Star Children, he can use various of Power-ups.
-Fire Mario- With a Fire Flower, Mario can manipulate fire. (With the Fireband this makes this form useless.)
-Ice Mario- Mario can toss 'Ice balls' to freeze enemies and even skate along the water when expose to an Ice Flower.
-Raccoon Mario- When he absorbs a Super Leaf, Mario's body transforms into a Raccoon that allows him to fly. More common around fall, it is native to the Mushroom Kingdom and Sarasaland.
-Tanooki Mario- Unlike the Super Leaf, Tanooki Mario can transform into anything. It takes lots of practice and patience not to reveal any of his tanooki traits during transformation.
-White Tanooki Mario- The Legendary White Tanooki Suit is enchanted by Star Power grants Mario better defense and longer flight stamina.
-Cape Mario- With a Cape Feather, Mario's flight speed doubles, but is less accurate then the Super Leaf. The Cape Feather is only native to Dinosaur Land and Yoshi's Island.
-Cat Mario- The Cat Bell is a rather new power up. Mario can climb walls which he'll normally couldn't as well to scratch foes. Because it's a fairly new power up, Mario generally gets easily distracted by wiggling objects, takes long cat naps, and groom himself and his friends.
-Wing Mario- One of his Star Powers: When obtaining a white feather, Wing Mario can reach up to speeds around 765 (he can break the sound barrier!). He can also use his Fireband in this form with many other added aerial attacks. He can only retain this form for a short amount of time.
-Vanish Mario- One of his Star Powers: Mario can vanish using the Vanish Cap to hide from plain sight and phase through certain types of walls. He can only retain this form for a short time.
-Metal Mario- One of his Star Powers: Mario's body can be encase into living metal. He is invariable when in this form and he can hit harder. He is heavy unfortunately which allows him to sink faster in water. His jump and agility is greatly deceased. (He also is unable to speak in this form). Like the other Star Powers, he can only retain this form for a short time.
-Red Star Mario (Flying Mario)- Mario's fully awaken star power. He can freely fly around for a short amount of time. (This form can be compared to Super Sonic.)

Personality: Because of his middle class background, Mario doesn't exactly act very 'royal like.' He prefers to be treated the same way before he was crowned king. Mario is friendly and easily approachable. Mario prefers a more 'hands on approach' on helping his subjects. Mario still has a hot temper and will not tolerate injustice. Because of this, Mario can be pretty hard on his kids (especially Chibi-MarMar), but otherwise a kind and loving parent.
History/Bio: After countless times saving Princess Peach, Mario settled down with his beloved. He didn't think much in the responsibility of running the country, however gladly step in when Peach was pregnant with his children. Mario had reintroduce the diplomat government from his home world into the Mushroom Kingdom, and gather six of his most trusted members of the royal court to act as 'The Royal Console.' When Mario had heard that his eldest son was going to marry into the Koopa Royal Family, he'd thought Bowser was secretly trying to take over his kingdom. To prevent this from happening, he personally paid Bowser a visit, and soon the two battle against they're pity dispute. Their feud was put to an end when Mario II and Kairi had convince them to stop fighting. Their profound love with each other had inspire their parents from stop fighting each other, and thus a long new era of peace was issued.
Misc. Info: Mario is a couple of hours older then Luigi. He's also a couple years older then Peach, and about 3-4 years older then Daisy. Mario is named after his father. Mario is trilingual fluently speaking Italian, English, and Yoshi. Mario has a thick Italian/Brooklyn Accent, his Italian is much thicker then Luigi's.
