Hey, 'sup? You wanna know a bit about this cool guy? Alright, that ain't too hard.
First things first: My name's Soul. Soul Eater. It's a pretty unique name, huh? I highly doubt you'll find anyone else with it. Anyways, I'm a Demon Weapon, more specifically, a scythe, that attends the DWMA, a.k.a. Shibusen. My meister does the same. Tch, why would you even want to know about her? She's just a flat-chested, boring bookworm by the name of Maka Albarn. Really, don't even bother looking her up. She'll probably throw a book at your face. At least, that's what she does to me.
Then again, when she isn't hitting me as hard as she can with a hardcover book .. I have to admit, she's a pretty cool partner. But don't tell her I said that, alright? It's not like she needs to know. - pulls his arms behind his head, averting his gaze. -
We live together in a small apartment, along with that damn sultry cat, Blair. It's rough trying to do your own thing when your face is constantly being shoved into someone's cleavage ... then the next thing you know, you have the spine of a book implanted in the top of your skull. I don't get why she gets so damn worked up about me getting a nosebleed over the cat! Geez ....
I gotta hand it to her, though; she is the one who made me into the coolest Death Scythe this city has ever seen. Not to mention, I got some pretty cool abilities on our way to our goal!
Being a weapon, I naturally have the ability to transform an arm into a scythe blade. It's pretty nifty, considering I can block simple attacks with it ... it's kinda difficult to fight with, though. But, if I'm caught off-guard without my meister, I can at least defend myself with it.
Aside from that ... the time Chrona cut me open with his/her sword ( y'know, the whole reason why I have this nasty scar. -moves a hand to his chest. - ) she gave me this thing called "black blood." It was a pretty stressful time ... Especially when I kept havin' dreams about clawing my way out of Maka's stomach. Not cool, not at all. That, and I got an annoying little "companion" that sticks around in my head. Damned Oni, he sure is a noisy b*****d ... and he always shows up at the wrong times! I'll kick his a**, one day.
Ever since the Black Blood infiltrated my body, Maka and I have had access to this thing called the "Black Room." Isn't that name kinda self explanitory? When we resonate, she's able to enter a "room" inside of my soul. Pretty neat, huh? Inside of said room, I've got a piano. It's not just there for show; I can use it to help with team resonances with Black*Star, Tsubaki, Kid, Liz, and Patti. Not only that, but recently, I've discovered I can completely cancel out someone else's soul wavelength with it. Adagio of the soul, in other words. What's that mean? Adagio is a muscal term meaning to play slowly, from the Italian "Ad Agio" which means "at ease." Sounds way more complicated than it actually is.
Not only that, but during our battle with Arachne, the Spider Queen .. the black blood in me got a little bit riled up. It wasn't in a bad way, as it gave Maka a nice layer of armor to protect her .. Which was good, considering that damned witch had some nasty tricks up her sleeve.
Ever since becoming a Death Scythe, I've also had the ability to manipulate the form of my blade when in scythe form. This also ties in to my ability to "fly." Yeah, that's right. I can fly.
Maka and I have a pretty neat Soul Resonance now. We have the traditional Witch Hunter and Demon Hunter ... but we also have flight resonance. In short, it gives my scythe form kick-a** wings, and makes us able to move pretty fast. You'll have to ask the bookworm about it, she loves going on and on about the wings and all of the technical s**t about it.
