Well. The move to Georgia hasn't been very fruitful. So far, my relationship went under and is slowly surfacing. We were in a flood that lasted a good week or so. I mean, we were literally trapped in our apartment. No one could get out. It sucked. Luckily, no one was harmed too badly and we didn't lose any of our stuff.
Unfortunately, about a block or so away, our neighbors house caved in. We rode through the street...it was a horrific sight..people's home completely destroyed. All of their items on the street.
It was horrible...and I felt helpless and appreciative. Not to mention moved by humanity.
I had given up on us as a people. I gave up on humans period. Such cold, reckless, uncaring creatures. I lost my innocence long ago and my eyes were opened to the real world.
But this...this sight of people coming together...it was touching.
....
And then my twisted mind whispered: Yeah. Too bad that we only come together in disasters. And not to mention an elderly couple was arrested for trying to rob one of these victims home. How sad and pathetic that humans are leeches. A virus on the planet. And I happen ...to be one of them.

Anyway.
We have been here for a month now and we still can't find jobs. Then, omg, my partner finally got a job.
Today was the first day of the job and on the way there...BAM!
Car wreck.
Thankfully, he was ok. But our only car that was dying is dead.
We have nothing now.
But you know what...
Life goes on.
