My name is (Insert name here) . I am requesting to visit your school to fulfill the requirement of observing a certified teacher within a school for one of my college classes. As part of my course grade for EDF2005, I am required to observe a teacher for at least 15 hours and write a report about the experience. I have chosen your school because, I am thinking of pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Exceptional Student Education an am also interested in teaching middle school Mathematics. I already have an Associate's Degree in Arts, and with all of the different subjects to choose from I find myself still debating which ones I wish to teach.
I would greatly appreciate it if you would allow me into your school to meet with and observe your teachers. I must find a teacher to observe by the end of April, 2013; I will contact you a few days before that to see if there are any volunteers.
