The random musings and thoughts of nancelot

Dear Family Member Who Shall Remain Unnamed
(and is also forever placing large objects of the reasonably solid and sharp-edged nature at the universally(in the case of no one else clearly) accepted height of eye-level),

WHY?!

No really. I would like to think our family is relatively intellectual with an abundance of common sense yet every time I have to do something involving an area of the house that you are normally in charge of I hit my head on one of said poorly placed objects?

Eye-level/your height-level is NOT universally acknowledged as 'a brilliant height' to leave solid, occasionally sharp-edged objects such as wooden crates, star pegs, tool boxes, etc. - considering that the places you have so deemed 'brilliant' are often:
1) obscuring utilities that need tending to ie. the hot water system.
2) in overly cluttered places of the house.
3) dark, it's really hard to see in those places even when a light source is available.
4) have I mentioned the poor height to average family member height ratio thing you've got going there?

Which brings me to this. In every instance that I have not been able to perceive these objects in the environment you have put them in, due to one of the aforementioned reasons, and hit my head; you have been present. And in every instance you have also shown no signs of caring nor empathy. Nor have you stepped up to the responsibility for having placed said items in their poorly situated positions - not a single apology has ever been given and yet you wonder why I get so angry every time.

Yes, it is ******** painful when you hit your head on something so solid.
Yes, I'm pissed off at your stupidity and lack of common sense.
Yes, I will be annoyed if you ask for my help while I can still feel the throb of impact from hitting my head on one of your poorly placed objects.
And no, it's not alright that you don't even apologise or care that it was your fault.

Everyone else will lay down their pride for a second to admit their at fault in this family, so why can't you?
