A Lost Dream Memorized
We met in a mall on a late weekday night. Spend hours talking and laughing about.our days. Eating chicken and Carne Asada. Not a day went by when the sky felt black or blue. There were times when we just sat there and played games like smacking a paper ball around, or seeing who can make the funniest puns. Moments felt like mere seconds and time was never enough. I had only wished to spend all the time I had with her. Reminiscing of our past and galloping our present. It felt so real, so exciting. It's almost as if I was feeling first love all over again. Her name was Julie and we had both been victims of horrible relationships. Ages seemed to go by and none of us was weary. Some nights I would just lay in bed and think about her in real life. Families and friends of ours were faded as if they had vanished. Tarnished souls of ours had been shattered, yet for these moments we shared as if we were one. As if even though we weren't dating we were meant for each other. The fondness I had for her had carried across dimensions and only I had knowledge of it. Who is this mysterious Julie? Why do I love her so. Why is she constantly on my mind. It's more than a simple obsession. It is the complicated process that is my fragmented life. May I ever find her, who knows but I'd love to meet her. I'll await your arrival my dear illusion, to become nothing but a reality.
