A woman stood alone in an empty lavatory, a heavy frown marred on her beautiful face. She was looking at the small device in her hand, willing the results to change. How could this be? Why this? Why now? Her sharp purple eyes glared at the little red plus sign, frustrated. But all it did was stare right back with it's clarity, taunting her. Mocking her. There was no denying it to herself now.
With a frustrated sigh she dumps the device into the trash to be incinerated, the evidence to be destroyed. She pushes some pink hair out of her face as she heads back to the current base, now trying to keep her frustration off her face. This must not be known. This must not be found out! They were in the middle of a war! This is the worst time this could happen.
Then again, at the same time it made since that it did. If only she thought of that before....
No! This was not the time to think about things like that. This information must not be found out. She didn't even want to tell her love, not wanting him to worry over her about the news. She is solider, a warrior, a general, an arch angel! Something like this must not hold her back now!
Maybe after the war is over she'll tell. It's coming soon anyway, she can feel it.
Not to mention the fact if the wrong people find out and connect the dots, she might become a target. No, it was best if no one finds out about this...

The female places her hand on her belly for a moment as an afterthought with a frown before quickly heading to where she was needed.
