Brother / Sister
The brother and sister would be super close until the sister turned 13, the parents got a divorce, the daughter went with the mother and the son went with the father. After about eight or ten years, they reunite. The sister has made a 360 in the "looks department" coming from zits, messy hair, a little chunky, maybe even braces and now she's a bombshell. The two of them re-unite, catch up, etc.
Brother / Sister
The brother could sort of bad boy, got in to the wrong crowd when he was in college or high school and now he does dirty work for a man who traffics girls. He kidnaps girls for this man and he finds out one of them is his sister. They were separated when she was born because their parents got a divorce. The mom took the daughter and the father took the son.
The brother could also be a good boy and be doing it to make money so he can continue going to college and he didn't know why he was kidnapping women, maybe the man told him he did something good for them. Maybe.
Peasant / Prince
There would be three social classes: peasants, Nobles and Royals. The peasants wouldn't even be able to talk about the Royals. Well, one day, the prince gets captured by some peasants who had been posing as Nobles. They drag him by where the peasants live because there is little security there. The peasant gets out, saves him, he gets back to the palace, thinks about what they might be doing to the girl who saved him, he requests her services at the palace which is unheard of. No peasants even get to see a Royal before they die. The prince is married or engaged to a princess, a deal to get land or to keep two places from going to war. She gets jealous, causes all sorts of problems and so one and so forth.
Good Boy / Bad Girl
The girl's dad dies and no one knows so she hates the world and becomes somewhat of a bully in high school. She starts liking the good boy but she wasn't sure how to show it so she was harder on him than everyone else. Both characters have best friends and since high school, the good boy and bad girl haven't seen each other. The best friends are getting married to each other and they each told their friends that the other wasn't coming so they show up and the best friends convince them to start talking/go out. Of course, the good boy pretty much hates the girl who teased him all through high school. This is about 5 years later.
Good Boy / Bad Girl
The girl gets sent to a boarding school because she's a trouble child and her mom doesn't know what to do with her anymore, she has done all she can. The girl starts causing trouble in the school and maybe the good boy doesn't like her because he's either trying to keep his head down and focus on his studies, or he just doesn't want to get in trouble. The dorms are co-ed, though they only put girls with guys when absolutely necessary. After having several fights and complaints from the bad girl's previous female roommates, she has to be paired with the boy who seems to dislike her the most.
Bride / Best Man
The girl dated the most popular guy in high school but after graduation, he went off to the army so he and the girl mutually decided to break up even though they were really meant to be together. Both were care-free and loved life. Now, she is getting married to her high school sweetheart's best friend who jumped in with a shoulder for her to cry on right after his friend left. The best friend is the opposite of her, a business man, very scheduled. Now that they're getting married, the best friend feels comfortable enough to bring in the girl's high school sweetheart as his best man. Emotions rush back and while the best friend is busy not paying attention to her, leaving her to plan the wedding, she finds comfort in the boy who went away for the army.
Vampire Hunter / Vampire
The young huntress wanted to avenge her father, the most feared vampire hunter. He was killed by a group of vampires in front of her when she was just a child. A group of vampire hunters saved her and raised her to be the best vampire hunter around, just like her father. After years of moving from city to city with her new family, she decided to settle down and narrow in on her father's killer. She got word of the general area he was in so she got an apartment in a town nearby. The head vampire in the region had many followers in which he appointed each one to look after their individual cities. Their duties were to keep newborns under control and make sure any vampires passing through would pass without disturbing the order of that particular town. If they were to feed, they would do it discreetly. On top of keeping all the vampires in check, they were to find the famous vampire hunter with the blood that smells of strawberries and chocolate and bring her to him, unbitten. The problem? The leader of her town lives right next door. . .
Arranged Marriage
The king has two sons: the oldest, very immature and secretly NOT of royal blood and the younger, more level-headed son who was the king's only actual son. Being the great ruler the king was, he delegated regions to certain people he trusted though not all of the Noble men had an allegiance to one king but to two. Some of the regions were in a grey area between the two kingdoms and the king wanted to call some sort of truce, to make sure that no war came from the land unclaimed. This, of course, could only be settled by a marriage. The king in the south selected a daughter of his most trusted Noblemen to be wed to the prince in the North. What an unfortunate match they'll make, the troublemaker and constant instigator would be marrying a man who wanted everything done his way. Of course there will be drama with the oldest son not being the true heir to the throne and the new wife would surely fall for the more attractive younger brother and some other surprises that may come up.
Master / Slave
The world is in turmoil, after World War 3, everyone now looks to the wealthiest family from each district for guidance. With the cities in such disrepair, slavery became an acceptable form of payment, something the rich thought would get the economy back in order. Now where does that leave our characters?
The master is in charge of a district, but he is in search of special slaves, ones that had powers like him. Ever since he could remember, he had the power to (insert desired power here) and he has since, perfected it. Rumor had it that there were a large handful of people out there that had something special. Rumor also had it that these people with special abilities had two each, meaning the master hasn't figured out what his other power is quite yet. But, he was determined to find the people like him: maybe learn their powers, or maybe he has other plans. . .
The slave was sold by her mother to the black market for money, a better way of living. Of course, that was about ten years ago, right after the war. The slave is now in her early twenties and no one wants her because weird things happen when she's around. She can set things on fire with a single touch. Of course, that doesn't go well with all of her owners, so no one seems to want her now, which is exactly the way she liked it. That is, of course, until the master sends out his guards in search of the others like him.
