today, Hynoki was in a car wreck, her first one. a shopping cart was in the middle of one of lanes. she tried to miss it but cars flew up on either side of her and she ended up hitting the cart at an angle putting the car on two wheels for a short time and ended up in the HOV lane facing in the opposite direction. tied up traffic for about an hour. she was the only one involved. it was a miracle! cars and semis flying by her and not one of them hit her. it happened about 10a this morning. she was shaken up but not injured. she has a bruise from the seat belt when it locked itself down and a sore back and shoulder. she says it hurts to walk. unfortunately the car only carried liability. no coverage for her. the car? it looks to be totalled. my hubby will assess it on saturday. it was wrecked before and we fixed it but this time it looks like the frame or subframe is bent. it's a tough little car. that's a subaru legacy (1991). great little car! Hynoki is doin' ok. still upset that she has lost the car as it was given to her by her father. that little car wasn't much to look at but it could hold it's own against mustangs. Hynoki was really blessed to day to walk away without a scratch. she is grateful that little car handled the pounding and did not roll when it went on two wheel. what's incredible to me is the fact that not one single car going by her hit her during the incident. that's one huge miracle. hwy 635 is an extremely busy hwy. it took only a short time before there was backup that went over the bridge for northwest hwy. if u from the dallas area, u know where this is. tonight she is back at her apartment. i can hope and pray that nothing else will show up that requires medical attention. but the pain should subside in a day or two.

on a brighter note, my oldest daughter and her family have found themselves a new place to live. they move in thanksgiving weekend. can't wait to help them get settled. get to have them here at the house for a couple of weeks. will be nice to see my granddaughter a little more.

what a month this has become. wonder what will happen next?
