Preface
The reasons as to why Jonah had ever felt so confused in his life were quite obvious. He'd never touched or even kissed a girl until he was 15, and even then he thought it was the scariest thing he'd ever experience in his life. His mind had never been about most things an average boy his age would care about. He never thought about girls in a way of sexual communication, or love. He never understood love because all of his past relationships were either flings or short and meant nothing. He said he loved her, but he didn't mean it, or know what he was saying. He just knew that it made girls happy, and they'd usually respond "I love you" back. There's a certain age that a person could say "I love you" and actually mean it, yet even though he understood that, he didn't think about it much. Jonah lives in one of the larger territories of Canada. Nunavut is mostly Northern Canada, and is very inhabited so there were lots of people to get to know. He's 16 year old junior. Standing at 6'3, he played basketball really well at his school. Jonah had few friends, but most of them were all very close to him and thats all that mattered to him. He was sort of popular at his school, but only because he played alot of sports. Jonah and his family became really close after his dad died from injury. He spent alot of time with his dad, and since then, people had to be easy on him. He went to the hospital alot because he was allergic to alot of products and was diagnosed with Nemaline Myopathy. He was keeping himself healthy another way with his passion for sports. Some of his friends were nervous and afraid to be with him sometimes because they expected him to get hurt if they took him somewhere too dangerous for his health. They decided they'd work together and try to provide him with support and love throughout his lifetime.
Jonah looked like any other 16 year old boy. But he felt like everywhere he went people were staring at him and could see right through him. He felt like he didnt fit in and missed school very often during the holidays for going to the hospital. Most of his time was spent at the Cvs down the street from where he lived. He'd go there to hang out with one of his best friends, Sam Foster. She understood Jonah, and always said she'd be there for him. Sam was alot shorter than Jonah, almost a foot to be more specific. She had curly, strawberry blond hair and was the same age as Jonah. Most days had been spent with her during the Summer, though his last month of summer had been spent at June Siebels house. June was a petite blonde girl who had known Jonah for three years, but they lost connection on the 3rd year.
