Music pulses through me.
I feel the beat as if it was my own.
Sitting alone, I watch in the dim light as people dance.
The heat is expelling from their bodies.
Hearts racing from their movement.
Energy is high, but I am calm.

Men hunt and prowl as if an animal looking for a mate.
I'm smirked at and spoken to.
I ignore them.
They do not interest me.

I'll wait until I find one that stirs my senses.
Then that hunter will be hunted, but I will not kill him.

I will make him my own.
