I was thinking guy could be a fire bender while I'm a waterbender. Perhaps they could have been childhood sweethearts but to due family issues, they were not allowed to see each other much. When he leaves the town, she wants to go with him but was held back to the fact her family had her a pupil to teach. It was the Avatar. Once she taught him all she knew, she leaves the town before her family could hitch her to the Avatar or someone else. She goes to search for him in her travels. They meet again at an inn where we begin the rp.
Jia Mei was a water bender like her father before her. Her mother was an earth bender and she grew up in the Earth Kingdom with her parents near the swamps. She was twenty-two years old and is a traveling musician along with being a water bender. Her father taught her how use water bender to heal others with and the fighting moves that she knew. Jia Mei learned on her own that she could control plants by the water that was in them to do what she wanted with them. Her father taught her how to hunt while her mother taught her how to sing and how to play the lute.
Jia Mei has been traveling on the road for several years now, exploring the Earth Kingdom. Now she working on her way back home after getting news that her father was ill. She has stopped traveling for the night and had secured a room and supper by performing in the tavern. Then Jia Mei began to play her lute and began singing the song, Ghost of a Rose.
