Episode 4: Tribute to Jin (part 2)
So basically this second part will be mostly describing my last moments that me and my fellow friends had with Jinzo before he had to go. Luckily for me though a picture is worth a thousand words, and as such there will be many pictures to display. Of course I’ll explain along the way, sort of like telling the tale that needed to be told. With that said we might as well get going, it was a very important day for all of us. A day I’m sure none of us will forget. Till the day we meet again…
So I wake up at around 8:00 am that morning after going to sleep at 3 am from a night of mindless internet surfing, not a good habit of mine, anyways I figure I got to do something important today, so the best way to start off my day like I do every other day, with a nice refreshing shower, some sketching and most definitely some Street Fighter 3 rounds to get me going.

So then, I get a call from my boy, Mike AKA Lord Hornet or as we just call Hornet or “hey you behind the bushes”. Anyways, we both agree that it’s important to get organized and head down to see Jinzo at least one last time. So I tell to drop by and we will get in touch with Jonathan, the man better known as Ultimo, and so he did and we played some Capcom vs Snk 2 and talked about our plans. After a while we decided to head down and meet up with another member of our group Darryl, who goes the name The Panda, we were going to see at Union station. A little bit of waiting, some PSP, a train ride later, and we had arrived with the late hour to Jinzo’s place.

On our way there though, we get a call and learned that Ultimo had already gotten there first, and is eating my dinner! Just kidding, although was eating, Jin decided to order up some pizza and some chicken. I must say Jin is definitely a very to his house guest, I couldn’t wait to start eating some food, what can I say I like food. As we waited we sort through some stuff that Jin was getting rid of, played some more PSP and DS and passed the time talking about the good times.

Food! That’s right the food came in, nice and hot and ready to be thrown into the infinite abyss that his my stomach. Well in all fairness we all start mowing down on the pizza, all meat pizza that is, and on the chicken wings and potato wedges. Good stuff indeed, not exactly the type of Jesus last meal but hey I can’t complain, I like chicken! Anyways we grabbed our drinks and raised them up high for our friend who was going away, may that not be the last time we do so.

After our meal, we clean up our stuff and started to move some stuff out. I was very thankful and honored that Jin gave me some of his old video game magazines, a book shelf and his katana, which I have dubbed it “Jin”. I named it so because Ultimo has another sword that was given Jinzo, and he decided to name it “Zouki” like the last piece of his alias. And when both swords are joined together, they become complete and something else happens, although I’m still working on that. Anyways, it was a long night of memories, good times and best of all it was with the greatest people I know, my friends. I don’t know much in this big and crazy world of ours, but I can say that I would definitely take a bullet or five for these guys, there like brothers to me and it was sad to see one of our own go away. But I will hold onto what I have, the memories, because those are the things that make us and push us on everyday to be the best we can be. I have been given a lot in this life; a family that is always there for me, a partner in my life who has changed me to be beyond anything I could imagine, friends who would do anything for me and likewise for them from me, and so much more. And that why I say this, take a look at your life and those who are in it, because you never know when they will go away, appreciate each day, each moment, each second. Cause the ones that matter, will last forever.
