After hearing about the shooting in Virgina Monday afternoon and talking about it in English class yesterday, I cannot help but wonder, why did we create these weapons? Why are there guns? People who sell guns say "People kill people, not guns". Well, if your supplying that option and people who are 18 or older can just buy one, there will always be that temptation. The temptation to harm another human being, which really scares me. I have not gone a day for a while without hearing murder or killed or a number of casualties. Does anyone else feel like there should be no death besides natural causes? What has this world come to, truly? Are we any less ignorant or are we becoming even more close minded and selfish?
Whatever happened to loving one another?
I honestly wish all guns were illegal.
I wish that humans would listen to one another more carefully.
I want the world to open its eyes and see the tragedies.
