Today I learned that, to my great ammusement, I shall be playing the roll of the Easter Bunny at my local mall. They set up a booth every year, you see, where small children can get their pictures taken with the Easter Bunny. This year I am he - I am the bloke in the suit.
This came as something of a surprise, and I assure you that I had no idea that this is what I was setting myself up for when I first volunteered for the position. The thing is that I need so many community service hours before I can graduate high school, and so when I read about a thing at the mall (which is just down the street from where I live) where all I would have to do was 'help out the photographer'. Little did I know that this meant putting on a suit and waving at people.
Anyway, I don't really have a problem with it all, it just seems odd to me. I can picture myself in many different rolls, but friendly neighborhood Easter Bunny is not one of them.
Hopefully I'll be able to fool the kiddies. neutral
