I just found my mom's old 45's and records, and I also found out how music is dying. The 70's, 80's and (maybe even) 90's had much better music then the 21st century. For an example of how music is slipping, I want to point out Hillary Duff. I may be the only one who thinks this, but she has no talent. She can't sing, she has the most common voice I know of. She's got too many CD's and live DVD's. She insulted rock music with one of her concert DVD's. I forget the title, because I am a great Duff hater. All I remember is the sub-title "This girl can rock." That is soo wrong on two counts. 1) "This girl" can't do anything. She acts exactly the same in eceryone of her movies and shows. She always a little, bratty girlie-girl. 2) "Rock"? "ROCK"!!?? How dare they say that her music and she is rock!! That's a huge insult!! Get her out of the tabloids! Get her off the theaters! Get her off the radio! My god, somebody do something! Now, there still is good music out there. Recently, as many of you know, GreenDay has come out with another CD (how many do they have now?). This CD, unlike most that came out this year, actualy has good music on it. It's kinda hard to find actually good music nowadays, huh. The 80's was the rock era. One of the best era's in music (in my opinion). Some of the best songs ever came out in the 80's, like "Video Killed the Radio Star", "Eye of the Tiger", "Come on Eileen", etc. Well, at least all those songs are around the 80's (hopefully). Of course, everything I have just said is my opinion. I'm sure many people disagree with me. Especially about the Hillary Duff thing. *shivers run down spine when writing name*
