CHAPTER 2
The meeting
Hours later Raven finally saw the village against the large endless horizon. It's beauty was neverending! She shifted in her seat uncomfortably not sure what she was going to encounter on this particular trip.
When finally she felt the vehicle come to a silent but bumpy stop, she leaned forward and saw that they were parked right infront of a small hut. It was a hut that made someone feel right at home as soon as they saw it. Just like grandma's house!
Just then an elder woman around the age of 80 years old, walked out with a wide smile. She had the wide open slanted eyes and her long hair pulled back into a loose bun. "Raven-chan" she smiled at Raven.
Raven stepped out of the vehicle and stepped toward the woman.
'is this my grandmother?' she wondered to herself. But the woman answered that for her.
"Grandaughter?" she asked looking at Raven. Apperently this woman knew some good english!
Raven nodded with a shy smile. The woman ran at her and embraced her long lost grandaughter. The old woman pulled away in tears. "I grandma...welcome home Raven-chan!"
Raven nodded just as the old woman grabbed her hand comfortingly and lead her into the small hut. There sat a tall man and three mid-aged women all smileing up at Raven.
"Hey Raven...haven't seen you since you were like three" the man smiled.
"Bobby?" Raven asked not sure if that was really him.
"Yes!" he smiled.
Just then the tour guide, walked in carrying her one small lugage bag. Raven made to releive him and let him be off to whereever he was to go next. "Thank you for your time" she said handing him a fifty dollar bill.
"No I can't accept this" he mumbled to her.
"'course you can!" she smiled.
Then man just bowed and then took his leave. Raevn looked up at the group of odd people. "Don't worry Raven we all speak english...some of them not so good but they still speak it enough for you to feel comfortable!" he said.
Raven merely nodded. "So what is this mission about?" she asked him quietly.
Bobby looked deep into her eyes. "Time will tell!" he said wisely.
Raven sighed impatiently but remained quiet. She looked at him tiredly with a yawn finally. "What time is it?" she asked.
"About five your time!" he said.
"Damn! And i am tired already!" she smiled.
Grandma, stood up and happily lead Raven to a small bed room. It only contained a small bed and a night stand. Raven smiled at the nice comfortness of the room. "You sleep here!" she smiled at Raven. "Then tommorrow you meet your papa!"
Raven looked at her questioningly. "My father? I thought he was dead!" she asked curiously turning to see the old woman. But before she got the answer, the old woman turned and walked out of the room with a mischevious smile.
