Hello all! I have returned from the con of Ohio, aka: Ohayo-con 07!!! It was great!!! I've never had so much fun in one place!! To start with, I went over to my friends house for the weekend, then on Saturday morning, we got ready to go, and I got my cosplay together. Now remember, I was going as Hinata, post-time skip. We finally got to the place and so we headed into the buliding, towards the registration area. Well we ran into some girls along the way, they seemed nice so we talked to them for a bit. Then one of the girls said to me, "Aren't you dressed as Sasuke?" eek ... I was thinking, 'Are you frickin' kidding me!!!!!!' But I didn't acutally say anything. After that, we got into the line for people getting registered, it was awfully long but it went rather fast. So now we're at the registration desk, and the guy asks me, "Who are you supposed to be?", and I was thinking, 'Wahh!!!!!! crying ' So I told him who I was and he said my hair should have been black, since my hair is brown. My friend and I went walking around the place, looking at what they had. There was a lot of good things, and I wasn't to sure what to get. Later we ran into some people we knew, including my brother. We then proceeded to kindnap Manny, the only girl that was with them, and she spent most of her time with us. sweatdrop Well we went to the top floor, where you could get art commisions done. I found a woman who has her own webcomic, and might land a deal with Tokyopop! She was doing really great work for a good price, so we all decieded to wait in line, thankfully we got in line early enough so we could sit in front of the table. When it was my turn I had wanted her to do a commision of Naruto and Sai, but she doesn't know very much about Naruto in general, so then I asked her to do one of me and Gaara. It turned out very nice, except she left off the "ai" scar, but was still so nice!! I didn't say anything!!! xd My friends all got their work done, Syndi got one with Tsuzuki and the really femine guy from Decendents of Darkness. (Sorry Synthia!!! sweatdrop ) And Manny got one with some Fruits Baskets characters. The next big thing we did was go to the bottom floor and wait for the signing(where voice actors sign things, obviously). And we sat, and sat, and you get the idea. rolleyes Once we got into the room, we had to wait even more, so the signing started an hour late!!!!!!!! gonk I didn't think it would be much, Manny had really wanted to go, so Synthia and I stayed with her. Then, two of the voice actors had to leave for other places in the building, so they started coming out into the crowd to do signings. First was Mike McFarland, who did the voice of Lt. Havoc from FMA and some voice in Fruits Basket. (once again sorry! sweatdrop ) Synthia and Manny were going into stalker mode, and I was oblivious to it all. Lo and behold, Chris Sobat comes out into the crowd. The Chris Sobat, who has done the voices of Kuwabara from YYH, and Vegeta from DBZ!!!!! heart Oh, yeah, and Ayame from Fruits Basket. (please don't hurt me! cry ) I felt kinda stupid though, I didn't really have anything for him to sign... execpt my bag!!!!!!! surprised So I got Chris to sign my bag! With a gold marker no less!!!! blaugh Sadly, Synthia and I had to leave right after, loooong story. mad Well, we decided to take our time, and go through the vendors, to get some last minute things. Such as two-ten of the freaken' Naruto manga!!!!! And a tasty yaoi manga, kukukuku... twisted Back at Synthia's house, the next day of course, we were all alone an we played Naruto: Clash of Ninga 2, and read manga. Then I had to go home at eleven at night, you know, to get ready for school and everything. So that was my entire weekend, hope you enjoyed, my cosplay didn't do so well but it was still a great experience. Oh well, such is life. xp
