It has been an interesting week.
We'll start off with last Wed. That was the night of our Sadie Hawkins, which by the way flopped! The seniors at our school really did nothing for that dance. Iof all people had to be the first person dancing so that others would. Then we had some drunken girls from my class to spice things up, bringing drama to an local couple. rolleyes It was amusing. But they did play Depeche Mode for me! And I "Just Can't Get Enough!" lol. It made my day. They yet again skipped some songs that I REALLY wanted to hear.....all well........one day I WILL hear them. THey are perfect for dances, just no one at my school recognizes them right away.......grrr emo
But the day after the dance, we had a nice little rain/wind storm. Brought down some trees and prevented me from going home (the crew had to give up it was so dangerous!). So my dad, my brother, and me, along with my Science Teacher and my English Teacher and his two kids spent the night at Camp 18 a local resturant. They were very kind in keeping it open for all 100 or so of us there..... heart So I hung out with them. The next day they got the road all cleared up, but no one bothered to tell us so we were there longer then we should have been....... confused But it wasn't all misery. I got the chance to hang out with a pretty cool dude. He even took me and my brother and his sister for a walk in the woods. THAT was an adventure! wink
So we came back home thinking the next day the power would come back on.......Oh no! It didn't! 7 days later it came back on! 7!! No lights, no warmth, NO RUNNING WATER! Its was absolute misery! ......Well maybe not.........There are people who have had worse or live that way their whole lives. I suppose I'm just a pampered American. But now today it finally came on, so now I'm looking forward to catching up on everything I've missed!
