Have you ever been the victum of rumors or lies? I was once, back in middle school. I never hung out with other people, I was tall, intimidating, and unpredictable. I was very ill at the time with walking pnemonia, 80% sinus cavity infection, and a glueton level 270 points above normal. (average adult: 17 max) I was already being picked on because of being smart, exteremely thin/tall, and never showing any emotion. Well, the doctor gave me some meds to get rid of the infection, I used 7 of the 14 pills he gave me. I then began to have halucinations, split personalities, trouble realizing fantasy from reality, having dreams that would leave me lying in bed either crying or horrified. Atfer a year of this I told my consuoler about what was happening to me. Appearently some kid heard our conversation because within a week everyone was talking about it. I was forced to leave school in the middle of 7th grade because the parents began to feel afraid of me because of what their kids had told them. (Just so you know the rumors had gone from me having to go to a psych ward to me being an unstable psychotic monster who loves to beat girls just to watch them bleed, cry, and beg for me to stop.) I came back in 8th grade and everyday I had to be padded down and have my stuff/locker checked. (I was now thought to be planning my own version of the Columbine.) I didn't even last a month. Students had been told not make fun of my friends/family, because if they did I was probably going to cripple them, permenantly. (I the kid of person who you could curse out for 7 yrs straight and I would act as if I never heard you say a thing) I'm still not aloud on the premisence. Then I went to West Oaks Day Treatment Center for 5 months, then to Shiloh Houston (special school for people with disablities/problems) for 9th and 10th grade. I lost all my friends, most of which stabbed me in the back by telling people they had no clue who I was. But now I'm finally going back to a normal school. They said I would never amount to anything, personally I wouldn't say winning the Who's Who award (an award give to the top 5% students in the U.S.), getting all Post High Schools on my Stanfard 9, and getting excepted to Canagie Vanguard (one of the best high schools in the U.S.) is amounting to nothing. I have done more in 4 yrs what they'll do in their entire lifetime. So in a way it's because of the rumors they spread that I am such a success. Thanks alot you b@st@rds.
