You know the thing about how people can't die in their dreams? Well, I've had my first ever dream about that sort of thing. And well... I'm a bit jumpy.
So I'm writing it down. This thing has plagued my thoughts for 15 minutes. So plague me no more, evil dream!
Okay so first, I was at this basketball game with my family where little kids were playing and they were throwing balls at each other. We left and went to a wedding reception. (At least, that's what it was called in the dream.)
It was really strange because every girl there was wearing a renaissance-esque dress and watching tv. People left every so often to go get food.
So finally I go over there. Not necessarily to get food, you know. But anyway, I found this boom box and decided to plug it in so it would play music. All of this music was mostly a woman and a man talking about things, oh yeah, they did a bit of singing too. But it was mostly talking.
Then I go back to the room where the tv was and I see my mom chatting on her cell phone to someone saying, "Oh yeah. Nothing on tv and they decide to watch 'The Blue Dress'." (Apparently the name of the mivie that was on... I think it was Disney. xd )
"Well I played the Pendragon theme, but that was the closest I got to Sci-fi." (The Pendragon books are the books about that kid who goes all over the universe.) "
"The gateway is open."
And then all of the sudden this black and purple portal thingy on the other side of the room opens. As I walk over, I notice some words marked somewhat inside the portal, floating in midair I guess. I'm not quite sure what the sentance said, but it must have been important.
All of the sudden I was flying through the portal and all of these words were rushing at me, "death" and "church" were the only ones that I could remember.
Then there was a thunderclap. And what seemed like a brief flash of this skeleton in dark robes, holding a scythe.
Then I woke up.
I don't know what I'm doing now. Maybe I'll go decipher this dream with some dictionary, and then contemplate what this means in my life.
