Twisted ankle yesterday. Can't you see my just cheering over here!? I mean. I was skipping down a hall, hitting my head on the ceiling (or my hands? I dno) and then I slam my left foot into the wall and bam. down I go. Damn wall. So now you get to hear about my wonderful legs. Have fun.
Apparently I was born with my femurs rotated inward, which screwed up not only the motion of my thighs, but the shape and stuff of the quads, too. So I have knees that are rotated inwards, which caused my lower legs to bow out to compensate, or at least try to, which kind of stunts their growth and makes them weird. Right. So the way my tibia/fibula grows screws up the way my ankle and foot make contact with gthe ground, so that's why I have the grand ability to twist my ankle while walking down the street. Like I did a couple days ago. Couple that with being a runner and basketball player, and not getting it worked on when I was little, which screws them up even more. Yay. So when I got inserts a year or two ago, it seemed to help my feet/ankles a bit. But now they're back to being all screwed up. To top all that off, my left leg is shorter than my right. Whee.
So there are my leg problems condensed into one teeny little paragraph. Now I have to decide whether I want to attempt to correct them or not. If I do, they're gonna have to saw off my legs and correct the rotation (or something weird and freaky like that) and if I don't, I get to walk down streets killing my legs for the rest of my life. Good god. Any advice?
