Yup, it's now been just over a year since I made my last entry (quite literally), so I thought I'd add something new here, especially as my last entry was kind of a downer...

So! New things! Well, I'm at university now, specifically the University of Kent in Canterbury. I'm studying Politcs, but I'm also taking lectures in various other subjects, including History, as well as International Relations. I have to say, it;s very different from what I expected. The lectures seem almost pointless, as all they tell you is really basic level information, which is what you get tested on at the end of the school year. All the independent learning is for Coursework, of which I have done none yet, and, actually seems quite hard. I miss being at school and having everything spoon-fed to me. Ah well, live and learn.

There are some benefits, however. I get a dorm room! I'm really loving the idependence of sorting out dinner and whatnot. However, I'm not so found of the laundry. It takes too long! It's not like I didn't have a fair amount of independence when I was at home, but this is just amazing! I've a few arguements with the house-maid regarding the state of my room, and was eventually forced to clean it this morning. It's now spotless!

Now, on to more pressing matters. It's my birthday on the weekend! You'd think I;d be happy, except for the fact that I'll be even older, hitting the not-so-tender age of nineteen.I'm dredding it because, well I'll be TWENTY next year! Yup, I'll be an old git. I'll be going home on Friday for my birthday, and staying over on the weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing those friends who have remained, even though I've only been gone a month. I'm sure after a few drinks we'll be back to old times.

Well, that's about all I can think to write. I was inspired to write more when I started, but that soon died. I apologise. I'll try and write another, much more interesting one, soon-ish.
