Yeah, yeah. I know I haven't put a new entry in here in a while. Although with the profiles being what they are, I'm sure there aren't many people who check these any more.
Last night my bf and I went over to a friend's house and we were rp'ing there til about 3am or so. We ended up getting there around 8-ish, since we'd stopped to pick up burgers and soda and the grill was going by the time we actually arrived. So we gamed pretty steadily til about 1am, when Mike (my bf) points to something near Everett's leg and said, "Ev--coon!"
I looked over and sure enough there was a racoon coming up the stairs of the deck we were on.
Now Ev had mentioned that a racoon had gotten into the garbage on the deck about a week or two ago--the last time we were over there, we'd forgotten to bring the trash in and the next morning, the garbage had been all over the yard.
So Ev and Mike chased the racoon off the porch, but apparently although it was startled, it wasn't ready to give up on the garbage just yet. A minute or so later, it tried coming back up the stairs. This time Ev had a broom and ran at it and Mike grabbed a mop. Mike proceeded to break the mop on the stairs, although he did actually hit it. So the racoon hid under the porch for a bit. I knew it was moving around under the porch, heading for the stairs again, so I grabbed a pail of water and waited for the racoon to come out from under the deck. As soon as it did, I soaked the racoon.
We didn't see or hear the racoon after that. xd
