Regret is spiteful and dull. It eats away at you, and though it fills you with misery, there is no action or excitement or even challenge in it. It's just a feeling that stays with you until you do something about it.
Seemingly pointless...
However, it reminds us of our mistakes, that we are still human, still breathing, still alive. We know then that we can still feel, and be able to experience difference and change.
Without regret, we would have no remorse for our actions, and in the end, there would be nothing left but the parched, torn ground.
Everyone may fight for the world, but even warlords want peace when they rule it.

Unmuttered Thoughts
An envelopment of spite, greed, and regret. With nothing for the light to shine on, it does not exist.
