Prolog:

As Dr.Dilbert slept in his bed that night he didn't know what was about to befall his village. For years Dilbert had lived in the Village of Ledgends without much trouble. He had befriended all the choosen elemental children in the village. Most of the people in town respected the young man for his skills with a sword. His father and mother had been teaching him fighting techniques ever since he could remember. His skill with other melee weapons was nothing to scoff at but he had taken the path of the sword like his mother had.

She was once a mighty amazon warrior but had retired to the Village after meeting his father. His mother was still a strong fighter everyone (including his father) knew this.

His father had been a traveling Samuri. It was during his traveling that he found the amazon village. He proved his strength and thus earned the villages respect. His father told him that he had, had to fight his mother to prove his strength to the village and after the fight they tended to each others wounds.

Doc lied in his bed and reflected on his life. He was happy with his spot in life and looked forward to training with his family and friends.

The warning siran screamed to life. Doc woke up and grabed his equipment. He was always ready to go. As he charged outside he bumped into his sister Emily who was running down the road with his parents. Doc ran with his family to see what was the matter.

To his shock monsters had attacked his town. Men and women fought agaist the beast to drive them off. Many monsters fell but there seemed to be no end to the army of enemies. Doc saw a glint on a hill outside the village and thought it to be the leader of these monsters. Doc charged outside the city walls followed by an old friend. Mort was his name. Together they charged outside the city just as a chill wind swept past them.

The sounds of fighting had stopped, The sounds of fire burning homes was now gone. All that remained was this chill silence that seemed to fill the world.

Doc turned around to see his home, his village, his family frozen in place.
