The silence between songs in your playlist In shuffle, wondering what would play next The silence when you finished the sentence Is there more? Or is that where it all ends?
Those silence in between moments, you see That's the silence that connects you and me Pathway where our feelings intersected Ruined by fear of being rejected
Drowned by you, I've created my demons Longing for a sound, I've lost my patience I left you alone for all wrong reasons But still no answers and just more questions
I keep seeing myself longing for you Longing for silence, and longing for truth Music is loud, but you're the one I hear Will you take me back? That's what I fear
With tainted conscience, I'm down on my knees To bring back those moments that we both missed Will take all those comments just to have this Never ending silence, long lasting peace
Despite of what happened still you accept This fool who thought he can handle himself Was in distressed with the music I slept You handle me best, like books in your shelf
In you I'm in awe, in silence I sigh For I am an owl, in silence I fly If you'd believe, we would not say goodbye For you I would live, for you I would die –kmvc
note: this is actually a poem written for me by the guy i was bemoaning abt from my previous entries on our one-year anniversary, i just had to share. it all worked out in the end, folks.
