Was wondering which path to take on the road when he hears something very strange. "Get off my tail!" he hears. He turns around and sees a girl with a tundra coat and a tail
The traveler ran to the girl who seemed to be getting mugged by a rober in a skeleton outfit
The traveler takes off towards the two and screams "I'll save you squirrel girl!" but just as he screams he stops and sees the girl smacking the rober with her tail and he stops trying to rip the loose change out of her pockets and takes off running.
The traveler walks over to the girl and asks her "Are you okay squirrel woman?" "I'm a racoon!" she hits him with her tail and pouts.
"Ow...!" The traveler says. "Oh yeah, they see a harmless little racoon walking down the street and just decide to take all her money! She won't do anything about it! She's just a racoon!" The girl says "The nerve of these akugakure!" The traveler rubs his cheek as he asks "Akugaku?"
"Huh? You mean you've NEVER heard of the Akugakure?!"
The girl says.
"Nah-uh... Do they sell halloween masks?"
"Noo... They just steal stuff from small stores and mug people and young racoons like myself!"
The racoon girl says. "But the thing is... I don't know much about them, just that they like to screw with me!"
The girl asks him "So, what's your name?"
"er... Sota"
The traveler asks the racoon girl "So, what's your name?"
"Neko!" She responds "Nekosan to you bub!"
"Neko?"
She answers "Yeah, don't you know any Japanese? Sota sounds like a pretty japanese name to me!"
"Well, I was born in Japan, but grew up in America"
He answers.
"I... Never knew my parents either"
"Oh? Then how do you know your name is Sota?"
Neko asks
"Oh, well.... I... Don't really know... I just..."
"Don't know your own name? How did you make up a japanese name if you grew up in the U.S.? Your story sounds pretty shaky to me"
Neko says.
"Well... Uh... That's what Sakkida calls me... She also said my parents were killed when I was one, or... zero, I think..."
