Oh, my feet!
I just got back from the beach, but I hardly did any swimming. I ended up running the entire length several times because the wind blew my towel away. Some jerk with a southern accent tried to hit on me, too, but he never once looked at my eyes. *grumbles* Zaph managed to get away from the Demon Spawn for a bit and joined me. She had a few choice words for the southern dude. twisted
The track clinic thing ran by the beach on their warm-up lap around the town. Ally was still in it, even after her nervous breakdown, because I had convinced her that some day, at some point in her life, running faster than most people we know will come in handy. Oh, and Nick was there. This was the conversation we had:
"Hey, Nick!" I called to him innocently as I saw him, and Nick proceeded to stop dead with amazing traction. He, however, says nothing. "Hello?" His face proceeds to go red and he runs off at a mad dash. Zaph got a kick out of this. I guess maybe Nick was sheltered, or something, if he went red at ME in a bathing suit whee
Ally just read what I typed, and is shaking her head sadly. I swear that she and Zaph are in cahoots or something.
Oh, and for the weekend, Mandy and I are planning to spring Zaph from jail and we'll escape the town with Mandy's mom's credit card. Yay!
