*edit* in response to your comments. It could or could not be true, ive seen weirder things in my town. Where they HAVE tried to get anime out of the hands of children. There are so many bogus laws out there that this seemed valid enough for me to post *shrug*
Here n my city there was a HELMET law for about 4 yrs that if you were 15 or younger you had to wear a helmet while riding your bike or else you/parents would be fined.
this petition could very well be valid. and Mr. Drummer I am a rep too, but knowing Bush he would jump at anything that seemed unGodly in many peoples eyes, Anime is anime many think it is wrong sexually and such, and these peitions could fall into the hands of some organizations who want to mother everyone and they will take it to the next level.
