Pirate's journey
Anne took a long, deep breath of the salty air as she stepped out of her quarters. Her small crew taking their midday break as the Ricket swayed upon the calm waves. She gave them a reassuring smirk before making her way up to her second in command. The portly old man hummed to himself lightly as he checked the charts.
"Captain" he whispered softly as she came up the steps. "They're still behind us."
Anne's brows furrowed as she pulled out her spyglass and looked out at the rolling waves. A massive ship swaying in the distance.
"What are the chances that they would still be following us this far off course?" she asked as she looked back at him.
"Well, in all honesty... I'd prepare the men," he muttered as he looked up at the sales. The wind had been on their side, and the Ricket was built to quickly move in next to a ship at night so they could take advantage of the sleeping crew. It was not built for a full-blown battle with a prepared ship, especially one of that size.
((Looking for one of the queens pirate hunters, bonus points if they had once been childhood friends.))
