Pokemon Fire Red Nuzlocke #12 - Welcome to Cerulean City!
I put my spearow in a box and got out Rocksteady, my Geodude and I made it through Mt. Moon and arrived at Cerulean City with no casualties. Of course, my entire team were on level 14 and I would have to challenge Misty soon but I decided on challenging my rival to a third battle, which I grinded up my team a bit before battling him. I won by using Rocksteady against his Pidgeotto but after his Pidgeotto fainted, he sent out his Squirtle and let's just say, I had one hell of a tough time beating it. I wore his squirtle down with Lemon and Cloud, and Buttercup landed the final blow. And I used Ryoko, my Magikarp to finish the Squirtle off and to fight against teh Abra since his Abra only knows Teleport and you can't teleport out of a trainer battle.
So now i have to fight through the trainers on Nugget Bridge and I'm hoping that my first encounter on the left side of Nugget Bridge is an Oddish or a Bellsprout because at this point, my team needs that grass type coverage since I know for sure Link (my Charmander) and Rocksteady (my Geodude) are gonna get wiped out by Misty's team, if not Misty then her Gym Trainers. And it kinda sucked that my encounter VIridian Forest wasn't a Pikachu, but oh well!
I'll make a new update when I get my first encounter on the left side of Nugget Bridge.
