Today, I hope to do yoga, pick up my car, and get cigarettes. Then come home, make some dinner, vacuum. I have to do a Russian lesson today, and hopefully get my letter out to my penpal. I use Russianpenpals.com ... or at least, I think that's what it's called.

In order to properly learn Russian, I have to learn a bit about linguistics... conjugations and tenses of verbs... how that affects the surrounding format of the sentence... it's a whole thing. So it can be very daunting, but I am trying. Perhaps I will ask my penpal, Tatiana, how I'm doing so far...

I do keep it simple, however, as I am a novice. So no complicated tenses... meaning, no tenses. Lol. Just straight shooting, like a textbook- no nuance, unfortunately. Not that good yet.

However, an unexpected benefit of learning Russian, is that I am amplifying my already-native status as an English-speaker. I am becoming more fluent in proper grammar. I used to be so articulate, but I lost quite a bit of it after becoming an addict. I spoke with proper diction and grammar, and effortlessly at that! I have actually altered the way I speak because I sometimes don't know how to say things with proper grammar... so I change the formatting mid-sentence...

I keep getting better. I am still learning...
