As mentioned in previous entries, I mentor a young adults with cancer group. We’ve all become pretty close. One of our members called to say he’s been hospitalized for intensive treatment. He has Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. When we spoke last week he seemed quiet and resigned and that’s not good. It’s a bad time for him to be alone. I’m quite worried.
We’ll rally and take shifts, so one of us is in contact at least a couple times a day. I’ll make some time to visit tomorrow. Hopefully, we can keep his spirits up and he’ll get through this round.
