Chapter 24: { wahmbulance I swear we'll return to the plot at some point. XD}

Arthur was still debating if he was dreaming. The woman under him was just to good to be true. He never allowed himself to imagine things would get this far. Yet here she was under him, putting every bit of her trust in him as he secured her to his bed frame. He takes his time, helping her out of her pants, realizing that getting dressed had become pointless. Either way he was still rather enjoying watching her shift her legs to help him out a bit. He doesn't miss the muscles on her legs from walking so much. Seems her sun spots really did reach down bellow and he quickly becomes fascinated. All she could really do was watch him as he marks every spot he came cross. "Come now it can't be that interesting.." He kisses her hip bone. She was thin, but still had a light layer of muscle from all the hard work she did. "Maybe I find them interesting." His eyes glint at her as she blushes. "Oh well then.." She coughs a bit, his eyes sure had a way to make her squirm. He keeps moving his way down as he trails his hands over her legs. Thank goodness she shaved before all of this. His finger seems to trail over her leg, marking something. "There's a faint line here..." She blinks as she tries to look down. "Right leg, I fell out of a tree.." He rises his brow at her. "What I climbed trees okay, I didn't act like a girl growing up. I wasn't into dolls or tea parties. I wanted to climb tress and play in the dirt." She looks up briefly. "I did warn you I was weird right?" He makes his way back up to her as he looks into her eyes. "Far from it, though I have to wonder why you were climbing trees..." She shrugs at him lightly. "Why not, they were there."

He slowly shakes his head, but he smirks down at her. "You just full of surprises aren't you, anything else I should be aware of?" Aside from a few strange fears she had yet to tell him, she shakes her head at him. "Well there was this one time I met this guy, and I somehow got him to agree to me strapping him to the bed, but you where there, I was there...the whole ship was there..." He was trying hard not to laugh as he kisses her to get her to stop. She just giggles softly as he slowly pulls away. He goes back to her as he moves her shirt out of the way, well his. He didn't need more clothes to add to the wash. He was going to have to do something about being able to take care of his own laundry. He lets out a low sound as he leans in and runs his tongue over her breast. She lets out a surprised gasp as her back arches to him a bit. He runs his other hand over her other breast as he bites at her n****e, making her gasp again. She moans slightly as he does this, it was slightly arousing to say the least as he turns and pulls the same treatment to her other breast. He grunts as he watches her nipples harden from his touch. She was just to perfect for words as he moves his mouth down. He listens to her breathing hitch as he moves one of her legs over his shoulder. He moves just slightly. "Are you...uncomfortable?" He didn't want to hurt her as she lets out a small sound. "Nope, your good, I'm fine..." He lets out a deep chuckle. "Good..." He dives in as he runs his tongue over her folds. She was already wet as she lets out another moan. Her hips move just slightly, but he holds her in place as he works his magic.

While he had never attempt anything like this before, he had to be doing something right by the sounds she was making. He places his thumb on her slit as she lets out another moan. He couldn't quite place the taste, but he was enjoying it. He swirls his tongue into her as far as he could go, her hips bucking slightly at the pleasure. For a man that had never done this before, he sure knew how to make her toes curl. His only thoughts were on her listening to her moans in order to know she was enjoying this, and seeing how she was moving against him he had to be doing something right. She barely gets in a warning as she hits her climax. He doesn't pull away as he runs his tongue over her before moving up, his eyes glinting at her as she catches her breath. He pulls himself up as he unlocks her so she could move again. She looks up at him as she blushes. "Heh, I think your the first to get me to do that.." "I am?" She blushes even more as she nods. "Y-yeah, like I said, my last...err boyfriend, wasn't really..." She tries to find the right word. "He sucked, to put it bluntly it was so hard to get into it half the time no matter what hints I dropped it just wasn't enough. It just got to a point where it was just, okay, stop..just...the mood is lost, just...stop.." He didn't seem happy about this, but he doesn't say anything for a moment. Her mouth twitches a bit. "Sorry, I should be talking about what my ex did wrong.." He ends up kisses her, she could taste herself on his still as he slowly pulls away. "No..it's...not.." He shuffles a bit as he hovers over her.

"I want to be the man you deserve.." He finally comes out and says it as she keeps her eyes on him. "The threat of the Institute looms over us, that threat must be dealt with, and swiftly." He brings his hand up to cup her cheek. "I don't want to lose this.." She gives him a small smile as she places her hand on his. "I'll be fine, I'm as tough as they come you know?" He chuckles softly at this as he soon just lays beside her and pulls her close. She turns as she wraps her arms around him, just enjoying the moment. It was still fairly early in the afternoon, but he had already taken care of his need to be left alone for the day. Being the Elder had it's perks and he'd be damn if he wasn't going to use them somehow. He trails his hands over her slowly. "What was your childhood like?" He couldn't help but to get to know more about her. She looks down a bit before she answers. "Boring I would imagine, before my folks split it was rather normal on most counts.." He continues to rub her side as he holds her against him. He wasn't going anywhere to soon. "I went to school, failed at homework, I was dead horrible when it came to it.." Somehow that didn't surprise him. "I think the only thing I really miss out of all of that was my grandmother. She was the sweetest thing, short to, when I got older I learned the woman was only five foot four....the poor thing.." Against her five foot ten it was still slightly amusing to think about.

"I even have an old cookbook of her's..." She blinks as she looks up. "Back...home..." Her shoulders drop a bit as she sighs. "I couldn't take everything, most of what I had is likely gone now.." She didn't realize how much that hurt until now. She didn't have much to start with. "It sounds crazy, doesn't it, to just drop everything, but I just couldn't see myself staying in the Midwest anymore.." She had only moved out that way to get to know a friend better, only to realize they had been lying the entire time. He wasn't a friend, he just wanted to use her for her money and she never saw him again after that. She even decides to tell Arthur that since there was no point on keeping anything from him. "I moved out there through a friend of mine, we met through letters." Because there was no way to describe what the internet was. "I couldn't make ends meat out in Cal anymore so he told me it was cheaper out where he was." It had been cheaper though, she'd give him that much. "For the first time in a long time I wasn't shoving out close to four hundred caps a month...on just food. That's not including rent, and everything else I had to pay for once I was on my own..." He rises his brow at this however. "That's a lot to pay for food." "Why do you think I moved, I had a job, and it just wasn't doing me any good..." She shivers a bit as he moves his hand to the base of her spine. She settles again as she lays there.

"But the trip through all those states, was something else." She quickly smiles as her eyes sparkle. He loved watching her eyes do that whenever she got excited over something. "Lucky enough I didn't run into to much trouble, and the whole thing only took about five days, which ain't bad all things considering.." She feels his hand move again, a bit lower. "Aside from a cat, did you have any other pets?" She narrows her eyes at him a bit. "No, but not for a lack of trying. It was rare, but every once in a blue moon I would find a lizard or some other tiny thing unaffected by rads and tried to keep them..." His hand stops moving as he glances at her. "Why do I get the feeling you would try to make a pet out of a Deathclaw?" She gives him a cheeky smile. "Because somewhere down the road I picked up a death wish and a love for anything tiny and adorable." He moves his hand to pinch the bridge of his nose. "If I find anything on this ship....so help me..." She giggles at him innocently. "What I can't have a pet Deathclaw, and name it Fluffy?" He glares at her as she just starts laughing. "Well there goes plan number one on what to get you..." She could see his eyes slowly getting a bit darker at her as she lets out a small snort, covering her face. "Oh my God I'm joking!!" He didn't have to say a word, but he couldn't help but enjoy how quickly she broke into a laughing fit. "If I catch word your naming the Mole Rats..." She looks up at that. "To late, not that I would tell Scribe Neriah that..." He places his hand on her arm. "I'm afraid to ask."

"Well last time I looked there was four of them, so I named them, Bob, Evans, Jack, and Steve...Steve being the a**hole of the group." He hides his face as he slowly sits up, acting like he was getting ready to leave. She giggles as she places her hand on his chest. "No wait...!" He was trying to hide that deep down it was slightly amusing even if the Mole Rats were nothing more then test subjects. Still he soon lays back as she lays her head on his chest. "Where did you get those names?" "No where really..." That and there was no way to explain the whole 'Steve' joke. "But Bob was a short character in the Walking Dead comic...poor Bob...I liked him.." Why didn't it surprise him that she would be interested in comics? She rolls her eyes at him. "Oh don't knock it, it's actually not that bad...in fact I could list a ton of books I'm sure you'd like..." Even if a good chunk of those were horror. "Mostly horror, a lot of horror....don't judge.." It wasn't his place to do so, even if his own taste was more about history and anything he could really get his hands on. "I'll take your word for it." He touches her cheek lightly as she smiles at him. "Heh I'll over load you on so many books, most of them I can almost guarantee you'll hate me later for making you read them. I know a few good ones that tear at you emotionally." He brings his other hand up to look down at her. "Is that so?" She takes a deep breath, he ask for it. "Grave of the Fireflies, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood." So she was naming manga's, but he didn't need to know that.

She just keeps going down the list. "Akame Ga Kill, odd name I know, but trust me. Cowboy Beebop, that ones good, it's about bounty hunters, in space. Most of this stuff is mostly fantasy, but it still hits ya...please stop me I might keep going.." He places a soft kiss on her, shaking his head lightly. "I have never heard of these stories, but if you say they'er good, I believe you.." She smiles at him lightly. "I'm not surprised, most of those were hard to find, let alone the whole set. So what do you like to read?" His eyes shine lightly. "Mostly anything involving history..." She places her hand on his chest. "Then you'd like Grave of the Fireflies, again you'll hate me later for making you read it, but...damn." He lets out a low huff. "I doubt anything you do will have me hate you..." If nothing else his feeling for her were only growing deeper at her. And just for the fact she had a deep love for reading, almost as much as he has. There was more to it then just that of course. But it was hard not to admire her more. It was still strange to consider he was falling in love with this woman. But it was becoming impossible to ignore. There was so many possibilities, he could hardly keep his thoughts clear. "But other then that, I mostly have read the history behind how our nation got started and even bits before all that. Some of the things I found were kinda interesting." He watches her get all excited again, he loved seeing that look on her face.

"Like, there was this cruse liner...a ship, a huge one.." She wanted to make sure she covered everything, because the chances were he wouldn't had known what that was. "And it was traveling overseas during New Years, I forget where it was going, where it was from, but this huge rouge wave comes right the hell of of nowhere and tips the whole thing over upside down." She holds out her hands to keep him from saying anything. "People survived that crash, but only like a small handful made it to the bottom of the ship to be rescued." He was still moving his free hand over her slowly. a part of him had forgotten they were mostly naked, but it seemed like it wasn't that important. "Interesting, a ship that crosses the seas..." She gives him an odd look. "Says the man that has a ship that travels in the air. But I guess a good chunk of ocean ships got trashed after the war." He gives her a light smirk. "It's still an interesting idea, though I can only imagine what may live in the waters here..." Bad enough they had to deal with Mirelurks from time to time. Her eyes go wide at the idea, mutated sharks. She shivers at the idea, sure make them more dangerous, why not? "Heh, end of the world, brings back Megalodons.." He tilts his head at that. "Sharks, really big sharks that used to live WAY back in the day. They went extinct way before the war. I actually got to see a fossils of it's tooth, it's bigger then your head, they were so large."

"I never realized you knew so much about animals.." He had never heard of anything like it himself, but he was quickly becoming more fascinated in what she knew. Apparently she was far more well read then he was. She runs her hand over his chest lightly. "Oh I know a lot, mostly about animals that existed before the war since that's what people wrote about.." She lays her other hand on him as he watches her. "Can't imagine anyone taking the time to study anything around here though, but from what I can gather the Scribes do have good entail on what lives out here." "Of course, that knowledge helps us get the advantage on the battlefield." She smirks just a bit, there was the great leader she knew so well. "Of course, that only makes sense...don't want your people going in blind." He pulls her closer as he kisses the top of her head. He just wanted to remind himself she was still real. He hated knowing that he wouldn't always be able to get away with this. But he was working on that part, soon. As soon as the Institute was nothing more then a smoking hole in the ground. "Heh, how long before this ends up in the books?" He glances at her as he shakes his head. "I assure you, this will be kept between us.." She snaps her fingers. "Damn and here I thought I just might go down in history." He looks at her, a bit deadpanned as she giggles at him softly. "I'm joking, of course I'm happy to go down on something else..." There was that glint to his eyes again. "How about you stay put where I can keep my eyes on you?" She blushes slightly at that as she nods. She could handle that.
