So I have been playing a lot of WHF so it was not too surprising when I spotted a doctor in one of my dreams. I think I was on an empty school campus. He was in a classroom alone with a student who, from the sounds of it, was doing a very bad job at dissecting a frog. I see a student hurry out of the room looking a little fearful and wonder into it out of curiosity.
The classroom was empty save the two of us and then he took off his coat and I found he was the teacher. Students began drifting into the classroom and for the hell of it, I decided to sit down and see how this was going to play out. As more students began to fill in I began to get uncomfortable, specially cause there were math equations on the board to fill out. As well, I was in my pajamas and everyone else was dressed. I later learned this sort of behavior was normal for me, apparently. A girl I actually went to school with was passing me by on her way out the door, feeling sick apparently. I grabbed her and whispered I had to get out of there and she coughed in my direction a couple of times. I ended up just bolting out of the door myself.
I ended up in a park of some sort with miles of rock structures. I soon realized it was a park for bats, and I saw at least a thousand or more bats all around me. I admire them quietly, not wanting to set them off. I stopped in front of a light brown one. A woman who I assumed worked at the park walked up to me and said, "His mate likes you." I assumed she was talking about a black bat beside the brown one, with the brown one being his mate. Before I could answer her my phone went off. The sudden noise set off the bats and I curled into a ball to avoid them as they hurdled past me. I felt one bat cling to my back and it did not leave, and then another. When the other bats had gone they were still there and the woman repeated "his mate likes you." The brown bat and her mate were clinging to me.
Then the lady was in my kitchen asking for a new pair of scissors, holding a baby that I assume was hers. We kept trying to give her clean scissors but she stressed they had to be new for some reason. I got the impression she was germophobic.
I then walked outside and thought about returning to that school to see what happened after I left. Just about that time I got a message from the "teacher."
He dryly commented that I appeared to be feeling better and that I probably wasn't sick at all. He went on to complain that I was always doing whatever I wanted. I noticed there were pictures in the message history and found pictures of myself during a class trip, straying from the group, riding a roller coaster and a ferris wheel, etc. I am endlessly amused by the idea that the me that apparently did belong in that class could not give less of a ********. I was thinking of telling teacher that I was almost diagnosed when down syndrome when I was born and to stop bothering me.
If that response seems strange and a little offensive to you, keep in mind dream logic is warpt. I would never say something like that awake but there is also no way I am suffering through a math class again at the age of 27.
