I don't know what happened. I thought I was seeing things, or at least it felt like it. But I heard screaming from outside and noticed what appears to be an archangel surrounded by vampires. Is this for real or was this all in my head? I don't know why, but I was going through too much that I figured it was just a bad hallucination in my head, so I shouted at "nothing" before heading inside, hoping this would just "blow over" so I could move on.
I felt like I lost a memory of it, or so it seemed when I stepped outside. But when I went to the same area because I temporarily forgot what happened, it finally hit me. A vampire then ambushed me, trying to kill me. I fought back, but I couldn't reason with it. And then, the gun was in my hand as something popped. It was dead.
That's when the memory came back as I realized that it wasn't a hallucination; what happened earlier was indeed real. I made that horrible mistake of leaving someone to die or be captured because I was foolish to believe that I was just seeing or hearing things in my head. Everywhere I looked, she was nowhere to be found. I tried so hard to see if she was still alive or even dead, but her body was nowhere to be found. They must have taken her away, or worse...
I am sorry, I am so very, very sorry that this happened. I could not save another person even when I had my efforts. If there's a tiny chance that she might be still alive right now, I need to be ready to accept whatever she'll do to me. All that's left are my sister and uncle and I don't want to see either of them harmed because they're all I have left, so if she's not dead, I will accept her ending my life in revenge for not helping her.
