i kept putting it off but i gotta meet with kayla tomorrow (this morning) to show her what i got, so i worked really hard this past week/and a half and finally put it all together. i'm actually really surprised i even put it all togethre tbh. like any time i dance i'm just winging it and just having fun, not really trying to choose moves and actually remembering to do them again. but i did it, and i put floor work in as well, which was something i was very uncomfortable with doing in the very beginning. i think it'll look good and i'll feel much better once kayla sees as well. i honestly don't even wanna hear critiques lmao just tell me i did fine. i also made a shimmy/burlesque belt (i was shocked i even figured it out and it looks nice and stays up and everything) and i gotta finish the bra by adding fringe and s**t to the other boob. one boob is done. i don't think i'll be wearing heels, because it was really hard to dance in them for what i'm doing, and i'm supposed to be the white rabbit so i figured i'm supposed to be more "natural/with nature" so barefoot should be fine. either way holy s**t i procrastinated way too ******** hard and i need to time manage myself better. especially since i got a ******** cold this past week so it was hard to dance anyway. but ******** yes, finally a day off.
oh and another funny thing. so today, i guess one of our dishwashers straight up quit, and wasn't coming in tonight. i guess the servers were talking about it behind the bar, and one of the guys drinking was like "i'll work". so i had to train in a guy on dishwashing. BUT he turned out AMAZING. like i hardly told him ******** anything and he just went and cleaned everything. i even told him "man you've only been working like 20 minutes but you're already super good compared to a lot of other dishwashers who first start out". it even turned out to be a busy night and he kept up really well. i even had him portion cheese curds. i asked him at the end of the night if he was gonna be working here, and he just kinda shrugged and was like "well i don't really know". like i could tell he wants to be hired, but i know chelsea doesn't have hiring abilities (like she can have someone work a shift, but she can't add them to the official staff you know?). but yeah, then i ended up telling him i'd put a really good work in for him and his face lit up. the dude is the same age as me and was really nice too. a great attitude. i hope he works out
