Living Aquatic
Half human.
Half aquatic creature.
Often being featured
in books and media.
Praised as a beauty.
We are beyond what others call as peaceful.
Our tails are the things that are most loved.
Hair trailing behind like a wedding train.
Singing that will make the insane become sane.
Mostly females portrayed as well-endowed.
In other words, we are seen as flawless.
Like the human race,
we come in all shapes and sizes.
Ranging in all colors.
We are no different than any other.
Beyond our unique tails,
we have our fails.
With our varying personalities,
we might as well be close to the human reality.
From talking to the underwater creatures
to fixing coral reef habitats.
Among the good,
there are the bad.
That is the universal balance and fact.
