Your Ascendant, and Housing change as you move around over great enough distances (relocation astrology), because the culture is different, and because the Ascendant, and Housing are how other people restrict you in how your planet signs, and planet aspects can manifest.
One place might expect your hoodie, and jeans to be to keep warm in the winter/fall/spring... Another place might think you're in a gang. Then, you get a choice, you change how you dress, or you go with being a gangster, either way greatly changing your persona, and future.
