Happy New Year! <3

Hey there! Happy New Year!
It's been six long months since I last got to write in here - which is insane! I've been so so incredibly busy since I began my journey in Medicine school last August 2017. My first semester has been crazy and difficult but fun and exciting at the same time, and I was able to differentiate the kind of life I had when I was a Med tech student (my first pre med course), and the life I am having right now as a Medicine proper student. If you know me, getting to Med school has been probably my biggest dream since I was in grade school, unlike me being in Med tech, which I thought was just a way to get to Med school. I've been doing fairly well last year, but I plan to even do better.
As usual, I'm having the best of the best relationship with my parents and my silly sister, who I call "bro" here in Gaia. They've been my main pillars of strength, my main sources of inspiration and my number 1 fans. I'm so so glad I have them by my side, and I always thank God for keeping them safe, and always pray to have them with me for a longer time.
I'm also having the most beautiful and amazing relationship with Majestic_Moonlight, my dear boyfriend. We've reached the secure stage, where we (but me MUCH MORE often than him) still often get cheesy with each other, but are mostly dorky and silly, which feels amazing. Always, always thankful to God I got to know him and that I will always have a warrior I can trust right beside me - not physically, but by heart. If you're reading this, dork, cheers to more fun and beautiful memories together, even if we are far from each other <3
I wanted to talk a bit more about 2017 and how I consider it to be probably the year that changed me the most..
2017 has been a really really good year to be honest - me and my thesis groupmates successfully passed our thesis, I was able to graduate BS Biology, my second pre-med, I was accepted to Med school and I learned a lot of things, but mostly, for December. I learned the importance of life, how we should always be thankful for what we have, to be patient, to be kind and loving most of all, especially to those who need it the most.. December 2017 helped me shape in a better person, and I have high hopes for 2018. This is going to be a good year.
