Knight - This was the avatar I created when I came back fully to Gaia after dropping it like a bad habit in 2015-2016! Not much to really describe aside from really wanting to use the large sword in an avatar.
Cat Burglar - This avatar, as stated in an old Art Request thread, was inspired by several themes: A detective, a spy driving through Monte Carlo, and villains or henchmen from the Batman TV show in the 60s. I equipped cat ears onto the goggles to further emphasis the theme.
Teddy Chair - This avatar started off with an idea of having the avatar sit and relax in a really comfortable chair with a book and a cup of coffee. The chair was too cute to pass up I thought and made for a comical look running around with a giant sofa chair in zOMG!.
Blue Mage - The shark plushie was the base of this avatar. It was the cheaper of the sharks at the time and I really wanted to use any version of the item. It was difficult finding matching items for it though. I went for an evil mage look as the pose ripping open the shark reminded me of a voodoo doll, lol.
Star Catcher - This was one of my favorite avatars in which I started to realize that color schemes were the norm for items on the site. Who doesn't love that big giant net though? It reminded me of something you'd see in the Final Fantasy games with the silly weaponry like Aerith's Umbrella or Cid's Mop.
Bunny - Sleeping avatars are so much fun to make and these were no exception! I made two of these avatars because the Minty Beddy Bye version was cheaper, but I ended up caving and buying the Warm Beddy Bye later on...
Deep Sea Diver - I had my eye on the flipper leg mod and of course a diver would be the obvious theme to go with. I equipped the bag from one of the Star Catcher items to replicate that underwater floating effect and equipped him with a dagger just in case he gets into a fight with an undersea creature and it looks like it's already been put to use... eek
Royal Pain - The cape caught my eye and I just wanted to make something with it. razz Finding a matching hat was difficult, but even if the shade is a little off I think it works just as well. My favorite part of the avatar is the chain design around the neck part of the cape that goes with the matching chain the avatar is holding.
Benevolent King - This avatar was made with the month of Pride in mind while thinking about the victims of the Pulse shooting in Orlando, Florida. The rainbow bouquet specifically made to stand out in contrast of an all black and mournful avatar.
Ghastly Shopper - I impatiently bought Lavande St BerBarry as I was waiting for the Showy St BerBarry recolor to show up in the Marketplace and rather than selling the Lavande St BerBarry back I decided to make this avatar! The matching bag on the left was just the finishing touch I really liked and made him look like he took a trip to Rodeo Drive and had a shopping spree!
Dog Walker - Dog Walker and Owl caretaker too, I guess! Once I bought the Showy St BerBarry item was when this avatar was finally complete. The finishing touch, I thought, was the matching scarf flowing to make it look like he's strolling through the dog park!
Ivory Guard - Poseidon's Descendant has a really great armmod pose with the Trident so I created some kind of bodyguard to the Gods or maybe he's a God himself? Picture him striking his trident down with a rush of water like Zeus in Hercules with his bolts of lighting.
Ultimate Gaia Spirit Week Winner - This is the avatar I won in in the 2017 Gaia Spirit Week Ultimate Winner award! Gaia Spirit Week has a day where you dress up in a certain color pertaining to the year you joined Gaia. Since I joined in 2005 the color assigned to that year is Yellow so you make a yellow avatar. The bouquet was added after winning, but it's truly a moment in history.
Big Boss - Gaia Spirit Week has an After Party forum where if you'd like to continue to dress up in a theme, you can! The theme that this avatar participated in was "Western" theme which I made an Outlaw rather than a Cowboy.
Trophy Fisher - This avatar was based around the Sharkhead pose in the Shark Husband item. Really difficult item to match, in my opinion. sweatdrop The end product is my favorite though. I went for an expert fisherman and trophy hunter look that enjoys his captures so much that he starts wearing his most prized hunts.
Apprentice Mage - This is my attempt at an elf mage's apprentice - someone that's new to magic and too shy to learn higher level spells. Yeah, the arm on the left is clipping through the shawl, but that's okay. xp
Chef - Based on my IRL likeness I made this nautical Chef avatar complete with a knife for slicing and dicing! Saved under "Robster" in my outfit slots, lol.
Policeman - With the creation of the Chef I figured I could start making some more career oriented avatars so that's where the idea of the policeman came from. The car/bike in the back is supposed to simulate a cop car and I think it was a perfect fit.
Halloween 2017 - These were my avatars that I had saved during the Halloween 2017 zOMG! event. The avatar on the left was more of a Trick or Treat avatar while my Wizard outfit was more way more Halloween oriented with the color scheme I used.
Bandit - This avatar was made with the Far Cry and Uncharted video games in mind. He could be a good guy or one of the main villains, who knows? This look was created thanks to Rainbow Pastries as she gave me the "Daughter of Fury" item to use which has the gun + mechanical hand combo.
Unhappy Mascot - Do you ever have those times where you're just like "Not. Another. Word."? Well, this avatar represents those times perfectly. Stuck in this mascot suit for his job knowing he doesn't have a say otherwise.
Harvest - This was made back when the A Heavy Harvest was released in the Zodiac Games Chance Item and was/is my favorite poses with the armmod and scarf.
